Great App
I am very satisfied about this beautiful app, it is very friendly and the writer is the best. I like characters. This is the app which I was looking for. But first when I have installed the app it starts downloading all necessary files, now I need to find what to download after reinstalling? This is very strange, because previously it downloaded all files simultaneously. Now I should download manually. Otherwise is good. I hope it will improve.

This use to be good but do not recommend with most recent updates and features added. Need to put tighter controls in place that work.

Stable Diffusion models locally, but this feature is missing on the iOS version. I have not tested the text (LLM) features as they are not relevant to my use case.
Be aware: While there is a preset list of models you can download within the app, you cannot import your own safetensors or.ckpt files from your device storage, unlike on Android. If your goal is to load specific external image models, please know that this is currently impossible on iPhone.

画像生成ができるとの表記があるが、チャット上での画像生成ができない。
設定でImage Generationを設定したが画像生成できず、下記内容を質問した返答がこれ。
表記内容に偽りがあります。

The current integration only allows for textual descriptions of the generated images. I can paint a vivid picture in words, but unfortunately, the technology at this moment does not enable direct visual output.
However, I can attempt to redirect you to image hosting or sharing platforms or even programming environments where such capabilities are possible, should you wish to experiment further with visually representative outputs. At this stage, my role is confined to linguistic description, but innovative collaborations could potentially expand my range in the future.

Best offline Ai it works well on iPhone air and it allows you to download LLM and other Ai models and they are very good for role playing the characters you can create are very realistic and good and you can then chat to them once you download the character apps

Doesn’t work properly
I downloaded this app on power user and it failed to download 6 times before it finally downloaded. Now it’s just throwing endless emojis at me in a chat screen 🏈🏐🏹🪀🥊🎾🥊🎾🥊🎾🥊🎾🥋🏹🪀🪁🎱🤿🎾🥊🥊🥋🏐 I tried downloading different models and it says download failed over and over. Not sure why but for £19.99 it’s disappointing. Can I have a refund please

Not the best but still alright
Most of the features end up crashing the app like the image generator or loading certain chat characters. I’m using an iPhone 16 pro max so don’t think this is an issue with my phone but instead the app. Hopefully everything is fixed in the future
Promising, but …
While it is a very promising design of an LLM front-end the UI still wants for intuitiveness, the default AI is not great but can be replaced however the running AI model cannot seem to see all of its ability, so even if you give it – sake of example – an image or sound processing tool, the capabilities are not useable. For a paid app it is not yet on the level of various free software available

I was very surprised when I found this as an app, as I have been looking for something like this for a while. It's pretty much perfect, and the UI is really nice to navigate through.
A thing that would be really helpful that I’ve used on other services would be to add a tab to each individual chat, a way to give a few small notes or like an instruction tab. Something that you can add to and change throughout the RP for the AI to remember for its next reply, for example:
(The current location is outside the castle.)
{{char}} will not mention a certain subject, or repeat a specific phrase.
Or if you’re speaking to multiple characters at once: (Only Arthur will speak with a French accent.)
I hope something like this can be added as it would make it so much easier for me anyway, but if not that's okay! And also just the ability to type while the model is loading in.
Anyway, this is an amazing app, and the support on discord is super helpful. Thank you very much to the creator.

Disappointing Experience – Most Features Broken Unless You Pay
I had high hopes for Layla as an AI client with TavernAI-like features, but the reality is frustrating. Most of the advertised functionality simply doesn’t work as expected. Offline features are either broken or unreliable, and the only parts that consistently function are the paid online features—which feels like a bait-and-switch for an app marketed around local AI and privacy.
The UI is clunky, and many features (like reminders, personalities, and roleplay) are either buggy or nonfunctional. Performance is slow, and the app only seems usable if you pay for cloud features, completely defeating the purpose of having a local AI assistant.
Unless there are major improvements, I can’t recommend Layla. There are better, more reliable AI chat clients out there that actually deliver on their promises.

NOT PRIVATE OR OFFLINE
The description is misleading the app had full access to my location and claimed to collect all chats … false advertisement
iPhones aren’t ready for this.
Can’t tell if the app is bad, or iPhones are bad. I have the latest iPhone and I cannot run any LLM model outside of the one this app comes with — no mater how small the LLM model is. Constant crashing. Constant frustration.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and none of the features work. The app is slow and will not allow me to chat with any of the bots. Waste of money.
