Please help – 2015 purchase no longer accessible
I purchased the full "Longman Dictionary of English" back in September 2015 (Pearson Education) and used it for years. At some point it stopped updating and eventually disappeared from my "Purchased" list — it seems the original app was removed from the store. Restore Purchases in this app doesn't recognize my original purchase either.
I've emailed your support address twice over the past few weeks with proof of my original 2015 purchase (order number and receipt screenshot) but haven't received a reply. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable — just help accessing the dictionary I already paid for once. Would really appreciate a response. Thank you.

Paid lifetime licence no longer recognised
I purchased this app on 14 February 2021 for €36.96, explicitly as a lifetime licence. I recently tried to reinstall it and I'm being asked to buy it again. "Restore Purchases" does nothing, even though the transaction is clearly listed in my Apple purchase history.
A lifetime licence that was paid for once should still work after a reinstall. The dictionary content itself is excellent, but losing access to something I already paid for a few years later makes it hard to recommend. Please fix this or explain how existing buyers can recover their licence.

Navigation bug on iPhone
LDOCE 17.0 has a serious navigation bug on iPhone. “Break the ice” is correctly found in the search results, but tapping it opens the general “break” entry instead of the “break the ice” section. The same function works correctly on iPad. I contacted support but received no response.
This New Edition is not as good as the 6th edition
Thought this edition was better, turned out the 6th edition provides better and more explanation of grammar.
为什么无法恢复购买
不知道词典最近犯什么病了，查一个单词就卡死，只能后台杀掉重新进，重新进入还是卡死，根本没法用！卸载后重新安装告诉我找不到有效许可证，需重新购买，为什么？谁能解决一下？！

Non existent customer service
I’ve purchased this dictionary years ago, now they’ve updated it to this (InApp) version and expect me to pay for same thing twice.
The seller simply won’t reply my emails, what’s the point of providing a customer service email when you don’t even care to reply?
They haven’t responded to any of the App Store reviews since last year, can Apple please do something?

We have been busy, but are back now. You probably paid for a different app using the same content. Look in App Store > account > Apps
Good but….
The basic features of the app are great and the content is better than most other apps. The only problem is that a lot of the “features” ( AI stuff, flash card games, etc ) cause app crashes. It doesn’t bother me too much but if I’m going to recommend the app to my students I don’t want them to be disappointed by so many crashes. I do recommend it even with those crashes. I just make sure to let them know that it is worth it even if those “special” features don’t really work …

Any crashes were due to changes in iOS. The latest version should fix them. If not, contact support.

I bought this app in 2014 for $35. It was working until it was suddenly replaced with this app that needs subscriptions.

The Terrible update. The Dictionary turned to be useless
There’s no information about verb meanings - in the screenshot example “catch” verb you can’t see after update all meanings given in blue 1) “hold” transitive, 2) second meaning. It’s gone. Nouns don’t have countable/uncountable notes. Don’t see the point to use this dictionary anymore. Just long list of meanings. Do I have to read all descriptions? Why? I need just one word. The main idea. How to navigate your dictionary now ? It’s like reading a long article on each word.

You must have the abbreviated display setting turned on.
This app seems goes to your information.
It opens different websites as I touch the screen, such as Indeed. It seems this app want to reach out your information again and again!

You must have downloaded a different app using the same content. It is impossible to pay for the same app twice on the AppStore.
bought it, cannot keep it
I bought it full, in the past. Now, the app is asking again to pay.... it does not restore my purchase. No response from the Software editor ! Bad customer services....
