Want to use but can’t
Just downloaded on a XS Max, logged in, saw my books and tried to download one. It was stuck on downloading for several minutes with no way to exit, so I forced closed the app and restarted. Needed to log back in again, and every time I close the app and relaunch I have to relog back in.
Hardly umsäble
Needlessly asking for login credentials at every start. Crashes with white screen on certain pages and stays unusable.
Does the job
Does what it should: gives access to your library and the store and provides a reader, which runs smooth. Had no issues logging in and using it.

The app takes forever to load my library.
Seems to work fine.
I am able to read my purchased books without problems.
Leanpub is great. This app does not work!
I enjoy Leanpub and was excited to see they had an app. However, it’s not possible to use as each time I open a book, the app crashes. I’ve not been able to use this app, but sending books to Kindle is simple, so it’s not a huge issue.
Worthless
How could anyone including Apple, put an app in the store that is so worthless!!!!
Books not loading.
I have 4 books. The app found them right away after signing in. Two progressed passed the Downloading spinner and gave a Processing indicator that I think went by page. The other two were stuck on the Downloading spinner. I never saw them finish.
You do realize that most people expect to swipe to turn a page, right? I was swiping all over the place and figured the app was frozen. I touched the edge of the app and got a page turning animation. You can’t swipe. You have to touch the edges of the page. It doesn’t seem natural.
The books I could read have links in them. That’s cool, you can see more context to a quote or something. But most of the links got a page with “Error establishing a database connection”. One went to Wikipedia, one to PragmaticProgrammers, but most failed. Have no idea if this is Leanpub’s issue or the author of the book.
Also, are we viewing the PDF version? There are no tools to change the font size, or background color.
There is a table of contents and page indicators. You have to swipe down to see them. I kept trying to tap the middle and the page would turn.

I can't tell if it works at all
I was hoping to give this app a good review since I just published a book on Leanpub (and it costs $100 to do so), but when I used the app to download my book (epub format) it seems to be stuck in "Processing". For hours. On both my iPhone and iPad Pro running the latest iOS. I see the app hasn't been updated in over a year, so that's not a good sign.

Worse app ever
I thought I can tell use this app for browsing interesting books but it never worked ever.! Fix it or disconnect it
Can't login
Keeps crashing and sometimes I can't login until I reinstall the app.
Crashes during updates
Was enjoying the app until I tried updating a book. It crashes every time. If I ignore the update and try reading the unfinished book, no text is displayed. As if it is trying to download but hangs.
Now I'm not able to login.
I've deleted and reinstalled the app. Still no joy.

Great idea, AWFUL Execution
This app is really a great idea and I wish it worked. It literally crashes and kicks you out each and every single time you open it on both an iPad and on an iPhone.
Needs Work
It frequently crashes. Additionally, it is impossible to export an ebook to a different program or to iCloud, Dropbox, etc.

Bad app
Leanpub app will not run on iPad
Not usable with iPhone 4S
I can not use the Leanpub App with my iPhone 4S because the keyboard hides the Username and Password fields and therefore I can not paste my password.
Add landscape, night mode, font selection
Still needs 1) landscape mode, 2) night mode, 3) font selection. The lack of landscape mode is especially bothersome. Really not very good.
Crashes 100% of the time on book update
Makes it impossible to download newer copies of a book.
App crashes after book update
This is now performing slightly better than previous versions, but it still crashes after you update a book (and occasionally when attempting to update).
