Bad customer service

Not good. Poor platform.

CAMERA ISSUE

For some reason, whenever my job reps try to take pictures in the Leap app, it glitches out really bad. Sometimes it’ll even shut them completely off the app.

Great in Theory but a lot of issues

Update: 10/2025. Not much has changed, still have to delete and redownload leap for it to work. Job Progress/Leap has a really nice system for smaller companies but there are always issues. Always have to redownload the app to fix bug issues. Some options disappear from drop down menu from day to day. App options are different from desktop options. This company was purchased by leap, our monthly rate went up with zero notifications only to have a worse less functional program. We are searching for newer crm options as this place has a lot of work to do and needs to really work on back end problems faster.

Came a Long Way

System has come a long way. Originally tool was great, then it appeared to fall off, but now with new leadership the system is really starting to be cleaned up appropriately and the bugs are occurring less and less with each update! Looking forward to the future.

BUYER BEWARE

The software is glitchy, slow and causes more problems than solutions. It’ll take you a month or two to realize though.. The support is horrible. They delete comments on the FB page to prevent new suckers from learning how many people are unhappy with the software.

They apparently need a 60 day notice to cancel also which I feel like highlights the money grab better than anything else. We gave them verbal and written notice revoking access to charge our card and they did it anyway. Huge scam.

I would say to keep looking. We found a software similar enough that just works. What this company is doing is criminal.

I don’t usually write reviews but this is all I can do outside of our current credit disputes.

Dreadful Platform, Worse Service

For nearly two weeks, we’ve been unable to view any documents saved to our files. The support team keeps telling us, “It’s a priority” and giving us the ticket number, but nothing gets fixed. Since this problem started, I’ve been using their mobile app to view documents. Well, guess what platform just lost the ability to locate files by search function?

This company is a pathetic excuse for a CRM, and shouldn’t be considered for use by any serious company. We’re actively searching for a replacement. What a waste of time and resources.

Not worth it

Somehow, the price for this app went from $65-$165. Absolutely insane, and on top of that, the service plummeted. Good luck talking to anyone. In search of a good CRM

Leap since Fingles took over

Job progress was the best then Patrick Fingles took over and Fingles the whole system up customer support is horrible

This CRM has gone so far downhill

Ever since Leap took over, this CRM is absolutely horrible. Photos take forever to load, it crashes on me daily, documents sometimes just don’t upload. It’s unfortunate because I really did like it with JobProgress. We have thousands of jobs in our system so finding a new CRM will take a substantial amount of time, but I’m very much considering it. I currently work with 10 other CRMs and Leap has become the worst, by a long shot.

Unethical New Ownership AVOID

We have seen our monthly premium go up by over 200% since the new ownership took over. If you are a small business owner (like me) DO NOT invest in this program. Once you are signed up they continue to jack up the price. There are no options and no lower packages. Every year it just goes up, and to be honest the program has more bugs than it ever has. Doesn’t work well on tablets.

Terrible software

The premise of the software is a good. The execution is terrible. It’s egregiously clunky as if different parts were made by different groups of people without talking to each other.

The QB integration is terrible, Im not even sure it works. Likewise for the Zapier integration.

The estimates don’t communicate/translate to the proposal templates which defeats the whole purpose of creating an estimate. This also makes the whole process unnecessarily cumbersome.

When adding multiple measurements (e.g. multiple room dimensions in a house), you can only work with the cumulative measurements. For example, if I measure the length, width, and height of multiple rooms and enter them into a multiple area measurement, the only numbers you can work with are the total length, width, height of all rooms combined. If you need the total SF of wall and ceiling space from your measurements, this makes it impossible to get accurate numbers. This also defeats the purpose of using the estimating feature.

It takes a ridiculously light time to load pages which over time becomes super frustrating.

There are much more frustrating things about this software that I don’t want waste my time writing about.

Now, these fools are raising the price. I’m out, and I advise anyone looking not to purchase this software.

Trash

This app is trash there’s no reason I should have to delete the app over and over, log out and log in several times, turn my phone on and off.. just to get 9 pictures to upload. Hours. Just for a few pictures. Every time. Two thumbs down for me guys. Do better.

Find a different software

This software was great back in 2021 and earlier, minus poor customer service. But once they knew they were selling out to Leap and ever since, it has been absolutely dreadful. Customer service is even worse than it was, they didn’t come out with an update in over a year and then once they did it had all kinds of bugs. This software has been going down hill and fast since Leap took over. There are so many other red flags that this software is completely falling apart, I just don’t have the time or desire to go over all of it. I would just highly advise you to look elsewhere for a better software, because I promise you they are out there. We switched to BuilderPrime and couldn’t be happier. There will always be things that you would change or wish you had in any software you choose, but their customer service is great and I can tell that they are invested in making it better. Which I cannot say in the slightest for JP (Leap).

TERRIBLE!!!!!

Why ruin a good thing. I loved the previous version of the app. The new version is terrible!!!! Not only are there numerous glitches. They have taken away several tools that I relied on. I have contacted Leap support on several occasions. Each time I am told the issues hadvbeen resolved, even though no changes have been made. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Our crews out in the field who relied on the mobile app. Now have to work overtime and complete their task on their laptops at home, because they no longer can do them on the mobile app.

Here are just a "FEW" examples.....

EMAIL:

1. I can no longer copy and paste from received emails or when sending emails. Before,I was able to copy and paste customers answers to our questionnaire into the job details. Now, I have to forward the email to myself. Then go to my personal email to copy. Then go back to Leap to paste into job details.

2. When sending an email. It no longer allows me to paste anything. VERY BIG PROBLEM!

3. I can no longer upload emailed attachments from customers into the document and photo folders f. Again, I have to forward them to my personal email and them from there.

The extra steps I have to take are frustrating and very time consuming.

CUSTOMER MANAGER:

1. No longer able to see at a glance when appointments were made. This tool was essential in allowing me to see how many appointments are scheduled every day at a glance. it is no longer available, which is a huge problem.

2. No longer to edit appointments directly from customer manager. It now takes me several steps to edit an appointment.

3. No longer able to search directly from customer manager list adding additional steps to complete the task.

I could go on and on....

I definitely would not recommend this app the way it currently is😠

Broken software

Nice work testing your software before the big update. What a clown show. Can’t open existing customer files.

Annotate a photo?

It would be great if we could do simple text adjustments when preparing a contract or annotate a photo. That would a great help.

Field Work not Advised

The inability to send Email is a regular failure. Extremely slow transitions. Picture upload is hit or miss without the program shutting down. Scanning documents also causes regular app shut downs. The one, redeemable feature is the ability to upload documents from a text message.

When the App Works = Amazing

Why do I have to delete the app and reupload the app every couple of days? It’s like the app gets frozen or something. And for sending out emails you can’t type on the body of the email or when writing an address out it will not save sometimes unless if you delete the app and reupload then it will work. If the App would just work the right way all the time this would be unbelievable.

Too many consistent issues

This app is very frustrating. You have to manually update the price for each job for the numbers to show in reports and work flow even though it can pull from the proposal amount. The autofill address feature works 50% of the time. Quickbooks integration is terrible and other integrations are taking forever. Every week there is something that fails in this app. Even right now I cant add an address because the "add" button is unresponsive. It won't even let me go back so now i have to restart entering this lead. When there is an issue support just says to delete and re download the app......(never had to do this with any apps on my phone) Anything to do with uploading photos or saving a Proposal with photos takes forever even with high speed internet. Sloppiest app I've ever used and truly needs more technological advanced people working on this app....feels like rookies run this company. This app pisses me the #%*^ off.
