Great idea poor execution
My card won’t read on this repeatedly saying to place if flat and not giving me a another clear way to do it, I love the idea I would make it so you can create a account and then it automatically sends a updated balance on all your saved cards

The app is no use as it keeps failing payment saying check card type but doesn’t give you anywhere to select the card type!

Reliable so far! No issues on iPhone 13 Pro (a 5-year old phone at this point)

When you need to top app card it’s jast don’t want to scan in the most needed moment
Doesnt work half the time
The scanner doesn’t work half the time on iPhone and when trying to top it up, it fails consistently. One day I hope Ireland can just move to tap to pay! It would be much more convenient !

I cant make payment
When I try to pay by card it fails and gives me an error to please select the correct card type. But there is no menu to select any card type.
Scanner geht nicht
Leider kann ich seit dem neustem Update meine Karte nicht mehr scannen. Ich hatte nichts eingestellt gehabt oder geändert. Auch mit WLAN funktioniert es nicht. Und ich hatte vermehrt Benachrichtigungen erhalten, dass ich die App aktualisieren sollte, obwohl es schon lange war. Aktuell ist das nicht mehr der Fall aber das Problem mit dem Scanner ist immer noch da. Hab ein iPhone 13 mini mit neuster Version.

Honestly solid
The TFI payment system obviously needs a rework, and hopefully in a few years the contactless payment system will be implemented. But this app itself is actually pretty solid. It almost always works for me, and when it doesn’t, the issue seems to be with my phone or iOS itself, not this app. In light of that, I consider the other reviews of it to be unjustly harsh. I like being able to easily see the transaction history and top up with such little effort — plus seeing how much time is left on the TFI 90-minute fare since you first tapped on is very helpful. So all-around, I’d say this is a good app — and to the developers, thanks for making it!

Needs an update
Would be nice to purchase tickets directly off the app without a card ; even nicer if we could use our iPhones for tap to pay on Public transportation like the rest of Europe.
Very bad public transport
You cancel buses for a minute. And this happened twice. It's been an hour and 15 minutes. We've been waiting for a bus. The worst public transport system in the world is in Ireland. You are a disgrace, you have no shame.

I’m from the USA and got a Leap Card before my trip to Dublin. Your transit system should be the envy of the world. I wish we had something like this in San Francisco.
Only one working feature
This app is only helpful to check the balance on your leap card, and from what I’ve seen in the reviews, some can’t even do that.
Every time I try to “top up” the card (the central feature of the app, as the name would suggest), the payment system buffers and fails, regardless of the internet connection.

Un app veramente pessima !
Non funziona nessuno scan nonostante abbi provato tantissime volte ! Inoltre mi dice che non ho più risi duo nonostante abbia caricato 20 euro ! Siete dei ladri vergognosi! 😡
