Simple but effective
Great app. Just wish it has 2 more features. 1) have traditional characters along with simple characters. 2) able to play audio of all the phrases instead of segments now; this help with learning while driving. I do not have to distract myself to press the play button so many time.

Hardly understand the voice. Also speaking fast for a new learner it is hard to catch up with the phrase
Practice your tones!
Although I don’t recommend phrases as a way to learn beginning Chinese grammar or vocab, I do recommend listening to and repeating these phrases as a very helpful method for getting your tones sorted out. I’m an intermediate student but needed to fix my tones and these bite sized phrases (fast and slow) were perfect. selecting and replaying these phrases is much easier than trying to pinpoint something on an mp3 audio recording from my textbooks. The female speaker on these phrases is a pretty fast speaker (the male, is slowed) and great practice.

Too focused on negativity
A lot of unhealthy criticism- translations should focus on bringing the good out of people rather than belittling others.

Great app for using and learning Mandarin , helps me a lot seeing my wife family chinese who struggle with English , so I can find words to be able to translate to them
