I have tried many CDS/DVDs/books etc over time but have found this app to be the most effective. For me it has been the most simple and fun way to learn much to the happiness and amusement of my Dutch husband! Highly recommended.

This app works well as a starting place for learning Dutch. There are opportunities to listen, read, speak, and write. The storylines & characters are amusing enough, which keeps the whole thing from being too much like a high school language class.

Much,much better than Dutch for Dummies
One of the best
This is one of the best language apps I have found. It covers all the main aspects of acquiring the basics of a new language. I wish, but doubt the software is out there yet, it could grade your verbal attempt rather than you making your own comparison. However, I have not found any other app that can do this, so it is one of the best I have tried, and I have tried a few.

Favorite so far
I've tried 5-6 apps so far. This is the most useful that I've found. It was worth the money.Most of the apps are just vocab. This one uses useful sentences, things you would want to say. It will actually allow you to start speaking. It also lets you record yourself saying the sentences, so that you can compare your pronounciation, very useful.

I did try 4 apps for this purpose but this one is on another level, it is complete, demanding but without getting u frustrated or bored...various steps of each lessons are very well thought
Good app
Good app, fun to do. Having a dictionary helps with translation. Doesn't explain any grammar or sentence structure, but is a fun way of learning Dutch if you can learn grammar elsewhere.

The only dutch language app that I've seen, that is actually fun to use. I can highly recommend this app for anyone wanting to learn dutch and who wants to have a little light hearted fun at the same time.

Being a teacher, I think this app has fantastic effect on students. They are clear on pronunciation of foreign words and phrases.
Best language app for Dutch
I have recently moved to Holland and I am find the app very good and effective to learn Dutch language. The app worth 5 stars.

What happened?
Loved the app, the one time it opened. After that, nothing. It would never open again. Deleted it.

I think it is same that we can only get 1 lesson free.

The course mixes indonesian
The course is crap! It mixes indonesian sentences when you have chosen another native language!
Waste of time
This looks like a nice app so downloaded the free introductory lesson. When engaging the first lesson, there is no sound at all. It is a real shame and a waste of time. If that first lesson were fully accessible I would easily be willing to pay for this app after trying it. Because you'd don't really get to try it I will just remove. One sale lost.

Poor
Sound does not work very poor quality. And you need to pay once you have the app! Alot cheaper versions available do not download!
Fail.
This could be a good program but the company uses misleading advertising to get you to download. Says "Free (normally $14.99)" and so it appears to be the whole program. It's not. It's one lesson. If you aren't going to offer your program for free, at least be honest about it. This is no way to build up clientele.

Extremely misleading advertising
This app is not free. Only the first lesson is unlocked, everything else is $15. Why is this advertised as free when other languages are correctly labelled as $15? Notice how the $15 languages say no hidden fees and this does not? I would have considered trying and buying this app for other languages that i want to learn if it were not for the deceptive marketing, I took the free Dutch version just to see how the app works. Deceptive marketing does not sit well with me and I will not be purchasing any apps from this company.
