Doesn’t work
I have an iPhone 7 and it keeps giving me the same error message: Create User Error Couldn’t Connect.
Awesome app, but there are technical issues
This is the best French learning app I have used. However I have had problems with the app freezing when it tries to save my progress.
Solid Flashcard App
Does what you need, and works fine if you are honest in rating yourself on how well you answer.
Not that good
This app helps a lot but I don’t recommend it. #1 it cost a lot #2 it takes forever to load #3 does not teach some things you have to know. If you have this app I recommend a app called Duolingo that helps a lot with learning ANY language you want.
Tease
Tiny quantity of free content before requiring very expensive upgrades. Forced ti create an account. No way to delete the account.

Basically this app teaches you vocab and basic phrases but we’lvl see what comes next bc I’ve only just started
Decent App but Hard to Memorize Words
There is no writing function which would help a lot. Would be nice to see the word and then have to type out the correct answer. Then you could rate how well you knew it. Just seeing the word makes it hard to memorize and study.
Old App not updated
This app hasn't been updated in 4 years now, which is probably why I'm unable to sign in using facebook as that throws errors. Can't recommend this app without being able to sign in.

Difficult to use, no way to jump ahead to advanced levels. Waste of time

This is an easy vocabulary builder.
Both the app and the decks are poorly designed
Memrise explains the phrases better and Anki open source decks have better selection. I have no reason to use this.
Hate it
The app is really confusing, wants all kinds of personal info to “make an account” before even using the app then when you get on it want you to make your own flash cards.

Find something better
The first thing that annoyed me about this app is that every time I open it a message pops up telling me “Before upgrading the Brainscape app, sync your content . . .” I click “dismiss” but this is pointless because it immediately comes back. It kind of feels like they are trying to bully me into upgrading by pushing this message on me constantly (I’ll pay you anything! Just make the message go away!) And when I push “sync” in an attempt to make the message go away it takes me to a page that does not include any obvious way to sync. And why would I upgrade? These flashcards are a mess. Sometimes a word can have several meanings, but they often don’t let you know which one the card is looking for. Also, sometimes the audio they have to help you learn to pronounce the words you are learning DOES NOT MATCH WHAT IS WRITTEN ON THE SCREEN. So shoddy. Also, every other French language flashcard I have ever used uses “le” and “la” to indicate masculine or feminine. This app mostly uses “un” and “une” and I guess that works as well, but since it’s not what I’m used to I find it irritating.

A MUST HAVE!!!!!
I use Duolingo + Linguee +Conjuu with this app! I was missing a vocabulary building app. I found this one and I was off to the races!! This app was the missing link! Once I took it serious everything started to make sense.
This app is amazing! It has definitely improved my vocabulary. Compounded with the other apps, I’m using , after 1 day of using it, there was a noticeable improvement in a test that I took a second time. Any spare time! Jump on it! Use it or lose it, is the mantra! Bus, Train, in limbo 15 card test!!! Now up to 100 doing avg 98% or mastery!
What I learned is, you need to have a great dictionary like Linguee , because Linguee will give you all of the meanings. One word can be used in many ways ie (assez) download Linguee. As you read the multiple sentences and usage. Then the memory side of it becomes easy because you start to conceptualize in French, which is the point. Rote works, but way better when you associate images and fully grasp the ideas of how they put together the language. Very cool!! Get a conjugation app as well Conjuu is great! Duolino is a gamified interactive app which is amazing!

$10 to unlock your first lesson. No thanks. No free trial. Nothing. Makes me wonder if all these 5 star ratings are real? I have my doubts. Duolingo is better.
