Latest update completely destroyed all functionality. Nothing works.

its okay but...
This app is too expensive for the words it gives. other language apps offer far more phrases and words for a more reasonable cost. dont get me wrong i like the app, its just if i had to choose again i would probably go in a different direction. plus most other language apps offer updates which includes extra content, which i have not seen this app do.

Best Beginner / Intermediate App Available
This is a great app. for learning or brushing up on your basic German.
The games are a great way to ensure you'll remember the German word, because they force you to learn the word through pictures.
My only complaint is that a few of the translations are not very practical. For example...how many times have you ever asked someone where a chemist is?
Overall this is a great app. For what it teaches the price is fine at $9.99. The games they have you playing will make you want to keep playing them until you get a perfect score.
Down the road, I would like to see intermediate and advanced versions of this released. This is fine for now though.
