I am impressed with the application. The course is very well done, I am able to learn to speak complete sentence, and I am practicing writing the Italian words and phases. The course with 30 lessons at 75% discounted price of 14 dollars is worth buying.
Impressive language course.
Its a impressive Italian language app. I am surprised with the interesting learning methodology used by the app, like use of video along with synchronised texts, record and match, receive notes and reminder of your progress. All adds to effective language learning..

Easy learning
This is (so far) the best app for learning another language!
Key board is upside down on the writing part.
I like the app and the practical practice it allows but there still needs to be some things fixed. On the writing part the keyboard appears above the part you are asked to write on and it is upside down. I tried everything I could on my iPad to change that but it is just programmed that way and it is very distracting. I can't type italian upside down let alone English!

One of the best Italian language application for iPad
This app made me happy, I wanted to learn Italian conversational sentences, words, phases and this app is just perfect for my need. One of the best Italian language application for iPad. This app worth the discounted price of 14 dollars for the complete course.
Far better than using book or CDs
I am finding the Italian course easy to follow and my learning progress is good. This iPad application is far better than using books or CDs to learn Italian language. 5 star to the app

Great 99% of the time. Freezes on "now you say it". A little frustrating but we are having fun. Ciao.
There are some quirks that need improving
The introduction video (the one that plays before you can learn any Italian words) it's long and annoying especially after having to watch it once. There's no way to bypass it so, you have to watch this video each time you open the app.
Second, the woman speaks extremely fast. How can we learn something if its not broken down? There isn't an option to slow the speech. You have to keep playing I over and pray you're pronouncing the words correctly.
Until these two are fixed, I'm giving two stars. I won't even bother purchasing the rest of the app.

Smooth
Works great on my iPad. A dream to have no books, notebooks, pencils. A new lesson whenever I have a few minutes. The reminders may seem annoying, but this is how you learn...you have to put in the time.
Loving it!
Really great way to learn a language. Helpful translation underneath, but hearing it from the beginning made it easier.
I am enjoying studying Italian with Hello - Hello
I am very impressed with this application. I am a former language teacher and know about ACTFL and it's work to promote the study of other languages. I find myself "hooked" on studying and look forward to working on it. The vocabulary is pretty challenging but authentic and the situations are 'real life'.
I have no doubt that my Italian will improve using this program because it covers all four skills- reading, writing, listening ans speaking.

What went wrong?
Within minutes the first time using this app, the screen went blank when I selected the back arrow to repeat the lesson.
Not quite
Set up is good but the dialog moves too fast. Almost impossible to discern what is being said and how it is being said. It would be a great app if you could select each word individually and check your pronunciation.
