A friend recommended I try this app and I’m so glad I did! It’s really helping me be able to understand and recognise HANGUL and helping me with pronunciation that other apps and other programs have not been able to do! Keep developing 🫶🏼

I saw a post of this app on Reddit by the creator, and proceeded to download it to give it a try. I was blown away. it is a self contained Korean language app with high professional quality. I am genuinely amazed with quality, there is no language app out there like this app.
The quality, content, and value for money you will get from this app is astounding. I paid the full life time amount. If we get an iPad version, I will pay for it again.

Please bring back “learn next” option
I have loved this amazing app for learning vocab. BUT since the last update, the option to add words to “Learn Next” has disappeared.
Could you please bring it back? I used to be able to add words I came across elsewhere or wanted to learn, making this app my one vocab bank. Now being locked into a specific order makes the app much less useful…. Please bring it back! 🙏

I generally like this app a lot. BUT it often pings as incorrect if I don’t start the ㅇ at the exact correct place in the box. Or it marks something as incorrect which I got correct. Can be extremely frustrating to give the correct answer, have it marked wrong, look at the correction given and have it be what I answered. 😐

Great for beginners
This is an excellent resource for complete beginners to learn to read, write, and pronounce Korean. The variety of question types and constant review are especially effective. If you want to learn Korean to travel, watch K-dramas/Korean cinema, or understand your favorite K-Pop artists, this app is a huge help!

Almost there
I would give this 5 stars if it didn’t tell me I got the answer incorrect for not getting the writing in the exact right spot in the little square given. When I’m writing the correct letters, it’s discouraging to get flagged as incorrect. Makes the process unnecessarily frustrating.
Great for beginners!
I already had basic knowledge of Hangul when I downloaded this app but it was VERY hard for me to remember complex vowels for some reason. This app is fixing that daily! I don’t pay for premium but I might when I get to the end of the free content. I like how this app makes you say things AND ‘write’ them too. It’s been help to see, hear, speak and write. It really helps commit it to memory. I highly recommend to anyone starting their journey to give it a try!

This App is great and beginner friendly
It’s a pleasure to be able to learn how to write, pronounce, listen AND write with the keyboard at the same time.
It’s really the first time I’ve found an app where you can write on your phone but that also teaches you how to use the keyboard. Again it’s very user friendly and pretty fun to use, it makes more sense than Duolingo to me and it’s free,
I think you should definitely give it a try you won’t be disappointed at all!

Complete solution for characters, vocab and grammar
I tried a bunch of different apps for learning Korean before Jamo Korean but there was always something missing or incomplete or quirky. And trying to use several apps at once was just awkward and frustrating. Happily, Jamo Korean is a complete solution for learning Korean that totally works for me and I’m super happy with it! The vocabulary and grammar sections in particular are thorough and effective. I’m enjoying learning Korean again and gaining confidence in practical everyday reading (my primary goal). Great support too. Especially recommended for beginning self-directed learners!

Great App!
I wanted to learn Korean, and wanted to start with Hangul First. I found this app on a reddit post that the dev made. So far it’s been brilliant. Really like the Hangul course, and once you master that you can learn grammar. Then you can improve your reading speed with the stories. I’m on a 70+ day streak and the devs have made several improvements and additions along the way. 10/10
