After adjusting volume via app and phone, there is no sound whatsoever!!!

I have an iphone 7 but the app does not request to use the mic. Therefore no sound

I learned a lot of thing and I am so glad I got this because I wanted to learn Spanish because my dad is from Honduras so I wanted to lean his language and I am Improving in my Spanish and I am so so glad I got this app it teaches you Spanish and it is so much fun to learn form it
