perfect introduction

this little duck loves this app. center doesn’t get any more complicated than 5-way horn highs. no press moves, no calculating change. no 102 place bets on the 8. no lay practice. you will NOT be able to book a 547 no 6, but it’s not like that situations ever pop up.

all this stuff should become fundamental with no hesitation on your answers eventually. you’ll learn your keys, no issue. anything further demands independent practice, trial by fire, consultation with more experienced dealers, and training videos if you can find them.

Don’t Come and Lay bets?

I found the app very helpful. It doesn’t seem to have much in the way of dark sides bets, which I would find helpful. Otherwise I like it, the payment order all seems correct, etc.

Practice not learn

You have to already know how to do it. It’s more of a practice. Doesn’t have any instructions on the game or anything.

Cool

It’s good for practice but where the crappless update

Payouts

Great for learning payout’s

Don’t bother

Waste of money. Very confusing and I cant get a refund

Wasted money

I am already in school to be a craps dealer. I know the rules to the payout. I’m not sure if the number on top is the total odds on the pass line or some of it. When doing the calculation I have no idea what the point was to do the calculation. It’s more confusing than it is helpful. Stick to just making up random numbers… it helps if you buy some poker chips to help you do the payouts because this will waste your time. I was really hoping this will be helpful. I’m requesting a refund.

Let me move on if I’m right

Multiple times I was trying to do the prop bets and I’d get the answer right if even reveal the answer to make sure and it still didn’t let me move on fix it. It’s extremely frustrating to be told I’m wrong when I’m right the second I double check it

No instructions on how to use app

No instructions on how to use waste of money

Simple addition would make all the difference.

The app should be call Practice Dealing Craps instead of Learn to Deal Craps because it teaches you absolutely nothing. You’re expected to already know all the payouts all the positions at the table and where the chips lay . If you don’t already know these things don’t expect this app to teach you or even have a reference to look at to find out. It’s basically just a way to practice what it assumes you already know. That being said, the drills do come in handy and when learning to deal craps this can help cement in your head things that can quickly become overwhelming. I’d love to see a simple add on if just a reference to the payouts a student could look at or even a video explaining the different areas of the layout and what goes where and things of that nature. 2.5 stars.

Great for newbie’s

This app is really good. It don’t teach you to deal craps, it teach you to calculate your payouts correctly. I wish there are higher level of difficulty just like the roulette app created by this same company.

As Promised

This app is exactly what it set out to be, and what I (a student enrolled in a local dealer school) was hoping it would be: an app to help me practice payouts. I already know the rules and protocol (thank you local school). Now I just need to speed up my mental math game.

The negative reviews don’t understand the app’s purpose.

Thank you dev!

Helpful

It is helpful in practicing when learning to be a dealer.

Only feedback is it gives options to do just proper bets, so learning is bite sized. Improper bets after you get good grasp of the proper bets in Horn.

it’s annoying…

I understand this app doesn’t teach the game and it just for practice the payouts in order.

This app doesn’t have guide to how to use this app ,
It just put the right answer and that’s it .

I get confused by this app because I’m still trying to learning by my craps teacher but this app doesn’t help me at all just make me waste my time trying figure out the answers.

This app needs a guide , instructions or something.

Confusing start up

Would be nice to see correct payouts and why. You see a couple of offset chip stacks on top. Some have a number for one Stack. Some have two numbers. When you apply odds against total it is wrong. There is some logic there just not sure what it is. So if it is a place bet on 6 and there are 2 offset stacks on top of each other bottom value is 12 and top value is 15 what is the payout and why?

Awesome

Another amazing app for those who are learning to deal the game and want to practice on their own time. The payouts (16 to one / 15 to one) and table limits are customizable and you can go at your own pace. This app is super helpful and letting me cement the knowledge I am taking from class lessons so I won’t forget it. Also, making the mistakes and learning from them in the app is much better than messing up on a live game. Awesome app! I highly recommend all the Learn to Deal Apps!

I have a question

How do I change the high side and low side payouts? The Casio I work for doesn’t pay the same way as you guys adjust it to. Low side is 27 to 1, and high side is 57 to 1.

Most helpful by far

The dealing school recommended this app as I was learning craps and they were so right!!! This app and time practicing at the school gave me the confidence and ability to become a dice dealer!

I recommend it to everyone I know, even experienced dealers get something out of it.

Name is a little misleading...

This doesn’t teach you the game. It’s just to practice payouts. You will need prior knowledge of the game for this to be useful. I was hoping this would be a bit more informative. Still, a well designed app. Seems to be without many glitches. There are however no explanations given in regards to the payouts. It’s up to you to already know the game and then it’s basically just practice payouts that the app sets up for you.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. The app is for those who are “Learning To Deal” not “How to Deal”. As posted in the description, you aren’t able to learn how to deal just from the app. I leave that to the schools and table game trainers. Everyone teaches differently so I want to make sure the app was here to assist instructors and dealers to practice their payouts as they are Learning To Deal. I hope this answers any concerns or questions you may have. Please let me know if I can help in anyway.

Worth every penny

I’m a Table Games Supervisor and when I was learning roulette, craps and blackjack these apps were excellent for practice. This is the perfect way to study payouts because before I was using quizlet, notes, ect. and it’s so handy to have everything in one app. I appreciate you guys and look forward to your future apps!
