About
Money has two shapes.
There's the river — the monthly stream of what life costs. And there are the pools — the projects you pour into over months or years. A home build. A wedding. A renovation. A trip.
Most money apps only show the river. Ledger shows both, kept separate — so "what has the house cost so far, and how much of that was cement?" is one tap away, without tangling up your monthly view.
— YOUR MONTH AND YOUR PROJECTS —
• The River: what this month cost, day by day and by category.
• Pools: open one for any project. Every cost pours in, cumulatively.
• See what's left of a budget — or how far past it you are — calmly.
• Tap a category to see its sub-categories: Materials → Cement, Steel, Tiles.
• Refunds reduce what the project cost. Track phases. See your pace.
• Watch each pool fill like water. A quiet moment marks each phase finished and each quarter poured.
• Give a pool a cover photo — the site, the venue, the beach.
• Plan a project by category — Materials ₹12L, Labour ₹6L — and see each against its plan.
• Upcoming payments for a pool, with a reminder on the day. One tap when it's paid pours it in.
• Close a pool and it seals into a card: what that chapter cost.
• Export any pool as a PDF report.
— LOG IN SECONDS —
• A fast keypad: amount, category, done — with a soft pour you can feel.
• Quick log: type or say "1,200 groceries yesterday" or "cement 24000 for home" — Ledger reads it and shows you before saving.
• Paste a bank SMS and Ledger reads the amount, merchant and date. Or let a Shortcuts automation log them as they arrive.
• Photograph a bill and Ledger reads its total, on your iPhone.
• Logged automatically? A small review inbox shows what came in — and spots a spend you'd already typed in.
• Ledger learns: change "Swiggy" to Dining once and it remembers.
• Note how you paid — cash, UPI, card or bank — and see the split each month.
• Siri: "Log an expense in Ledger".
• Rent, EMIs and salary as recurring entries, confirmed with one tap.
• Switching apps? Import a bank statement or another app's CSV — anything already in Ledger is skipped, and one tap undoes the import.
— ON YOUR HOME AND LOCK SCREEN —
• Widgets for your month and your current project — your regular spends, logged in one tap.
• A widget for the pool you choose, with its next payment.
• Ask Siri: "How much has The House cost in Ledger?" Find any pool in Spotlight.
• Lock Screen widgets, and a Control Center button that opens the keypad.
• Put a pool on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island for a day out — a trip, a site visit.
— DEBTS, EMIs AND SPLITS —
• Money you've borrowed or lent, with EMI schedules, flat or reducing interest, and due-date reminders — kept out of your monthly spend.
• Split a trip or a dinner per person, per family, or by family size. Choose who paid, then share the settle-up on WhatsApp.
— BUILT FOR INDIA —
• ₹ first, with lakh and crore formatting.
• Spending abroad? Log it in its own currency at the rate your bank gave you.
— CALM BY DESIGN —
• Spending is never shown in alarm red. Ledger reflects; it never scolds.
• Monthly budgets by category, shown as what's left — never as a warning.
• Nothing went out today? Mark it a quiet day and the river runs still. No streaks, ever.
• A month recap, and a year in review — your year in two shapes — to look back on or share.
• Two looks: warm Deep Ink and neon Phantom.
— YOURS, PRIVATELY —
• Everything stays on your iPhone. No account. No ads. No tracking. We collect nothing.
• Voice, Quick log, bank messages and bill reading all run on your device. Ledger never reads your messages.
• Lock Ledger with Face ID; your numbers stay hidden in the app switcher.
• Full backup and CSV export, whenever you want them.
Ledger. For the month you're in — and the life you're building.
