Version 1.8.8 is about the world reacting to who you've become, and a round of the systems around it working the way they should. The people around you now form an opinion of you, and it has consequences. Give year after year and you become a known benefactor, and one day a board comes asking for your name and your time. Take what isn't yours often enough and the wrong people start to trust you with the next job. Live hard, and the fast crowd claims you as one of their own. Your reputation shows on your own page in plain words, it tells you the moment it shifts, and it fades if you stop feeding it. Free will is untouched. What changes is who comes to your door. Running for office finally feels like an election. When the vote lands you get a real results night: your share against your opponent's, the margin, and the turnout. And the person who beats you actually takes the seat now and governs from it, instead of vanishing. Your family carries on without you steering every step. Your grown children pair off and have children of their own, so you can live to become a grandparent. And a child you raised grows into a real career instead of staying a student forever. Money and business are clearer. A repair or teardown on a company-owned property is paid by the company, not out of your pocket. Your time left in office, and the next election you can run in, are spelled out. And the stocks screen is rebuilt around what matters: what your holdings are worth, what you're up or down, and a tap to trade. Plus the usual round of fixes. A buyer's agent no longer raises the same conflict every single month. Temptation, if you're spoken for, comes around far less often. And a few repeated lines and rough edges got smoothed out.
