This is the best card game I’ve ever played!
so sad
this game had potential but it takes forever to level up. pvp is trash and by that i mean a hot mess. there is no way a new player should be going against a master player. delete. uninstall. sucks i wasted time on this

Dont waste your time or money. Its grossly imbalanced, they have zero clue what they are doing. Its just trash...way too many animations and video to cover up the garbage mechanics and imbalance

If you’re looking for the best PvP card based RPG, this is it. If you’re looking for the best single player card based RPG, this is also it. This is better than hearthstone. This is better than marvel snap. This game is incredible.
BUT. It is a trainwreck to play. It can’t connect to servers half the time. You’ll constantly face infinite loading screens. You’ll have to hard restart the game, renavigate the menus, sit through a couple loading screens, select a mission, and then you’ll probably get another infinite load. Then you’ll do it all over again. If you’re lucky, you will actually be able to play a match about 1 out of every 3 times.
It’s really a shame that Epic has pulled support for this game. It could be the best.

Machmaking problem
I go to do play mach and pop up a message matchmaking has failed.please try again this every time I try to do play match I and why I can’t play the game after install the new version. I installed the new version of the game but pop up message saying I am on older version and reject me

good game but small issue
Some of the epic relics needed to beat the highest ranks dont show up in the shop like echoing spirits. I can't even buy it in a bundle and its the most used relic in most builds. It shows the same relics in the shops constantly which i dont need and takes forever to refresh. Otherwise its a good card game but im not actively playing until they fix this.

Great F2P game and I throw some money in for game passes every now and then. Great strategy and deck building and love to discover new ways to play.

Usual tencent tactics with p2w
If you’re after a grind with light RPG, try Dawncaster or even Wildfrost in a pinch. Leave LoR in the App Store where it belongs.
At in least other games, the sub-boss isn’t harder than the boss. You’ll get halfway through an “adventure” where the game puts you against a clock where it plays 3 cards to your 1 without giving you at least the option to get the tools to defeat it. If you do, the last half of the “adventure” is a cake-walk with a paper boss.
The designers have no concept of difficulty ramp implementation and to justify their existence to their Tencent master, made it so premium currency (of which there are five. FIVE!) is required for any noticeable progression after the honeymoon phase.
If you like grinds and have the time to devote to it, this is a great game. Eventually, the siren song of “to beat this difficulty, I just need another level or two. And $10 isn’t much…”. Except when it then becomes $10 every time to level, across many champions. The game (let alone the company) isn’t worth the thousands that they will eventually get from you.
Do yourself a favour, support the indie devs over at Wanderlust instead of adding to the bottom line of an investment firm that strips talent away for profit margins - buy and support Dawncaster instead of this borderline one-armed bandit of a game.

Best Card Game I’ve Ever Played
I’m a Yugioh, Hearthstone, and Gwent veteran. LoR blows them all out. The amount of interaction between players, the complexity of some of the interactions, the production quality, characterization of the cards, and how free it actually is just makes it amazing. Well worth your time and investment.
Even after all these years and them pivoting to PvE focus, the PvP is still best in class. I’ve tried other card games but there is simply nothing like LoR.

Game on life support
When riot decided to stop developing the pvp experience to focus on their printed card game, the quality dropped precipitously. Now that it is pve only, the cosmetics they expect you to shell out real money for makes no sense. If you’re thinking of getting into path of legends as a new player, be prepared to spend months or hundreds of dollars to get to the point for the game experience to be enjoyable. It doesn’t help that the ai is really stupid and that some encounters clearly lacked play testing. If you really want the single player experience, there are plenty of other games like slay the spire that doesn’t require the grind/money investment just to get to the point of having meaningful choices and fun.
