Doesn’t work
I can’t get registered even shows the right email. Ask for help several times no one contacts me. IT help at headquarters could help.
Unable to verify account
I have tried several times to verify account. The app finds my email associated with my membership but is unable to send confirmation email. Two other members have tried to log in and are getting same error that I am aware of. Emailed support and have received no response after several days and attempts.

OK, but needs refinement
This is an update to my prior review. Loads very slowly and recruiting links don’t always work. When it does work correctly, I love using this app for signing up new members and accessing my membership card. To achieve 4 or 5 stars, it needs to have cards that can be downloaded to Apple Wallet and a quick, useful interface with reliable links for recruiting. Generally, I’m happy with it when it works, but it needs to be refined to keep up with what people expect from apps in 2026.

App doesn’t function properly
Unable to get this app to work on my IPhone 16 ProMax. When trying to create an account, it finds my SAL membership. Then, while trying to send confirmation email, it gives “Confirmation email failed” error. So, unable to use the app.
Terrible Cannot login.
Terrible. Cannot log in. My member ID and name comes up but when it say send email verification I get an error to contact support. I did with zero response.
Can’t log in
Never been able to login to the app. My account is fine on mylegion.org but can’t use the app. Nowhere o get help through the Contact Us.
VETS DESERVE BETTER
THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST APP IN THE HISTORY OF APPS! The database transactional cost is FAR TOO HIGH! Fix it.
Won’t allow me to create an account
I have tried creating a account and with the same message stating it cannot find my information. I am a IT professional and I have to say this app’s behavior is ridiculous and the customer service is lacking extremely bad.
Terrible
Customer service does not respond - zero support - I can’t link my account and it has been 2+ months and multiple trys to contact suppory with ZERO response of any kind - no excuse for that
Membership null
Created account, found my paid membership, run though all the hoops. Error message “membership null” email support no response. Seriously you guys need to figure out this app because the rollout has been horrible.
Stable For Now
This is an update to my prior review. After being inaccessible for a few weeks it is back up and you can log in. Love using this app for signing up new members and accessing my membership card. I will upgrade the stars to 4 if it remains stable for both myself and other members. To achieve 5 stars, it needs to have cards that can be downloaded to Apple Wallet and a quick, useful interface. Otherwise, I’m very happy with it when it works. For younger generations, an app like this is an important part of our public-facing persona. So, it needs to be reliable and must take advantage of up-to-date tech trends.

It found my info, let me create an account, sent me verification codes, crashed, reopened, said I had an account, but won’t let me log in. It just shows an animated flash across the screen for a bit, then stops. It successfully created the account, as it reports incorrect credentials when I put in bogus creds, but only the flash when I put in correct ones.
App has potential; please fix.

Force close app
Takes you through all the steps to setup account and when you enter verification code sent via email the app closes every time. Sad.
Doesn’t work
It won’t allow me to create and account. Get to the step where it wants to send me a verification code and then it says an account doesn’t exist with that email! It’s basically useless.
Login problems
iPhone 15 user here, iOS 18.3.1. This app is terrible/broken, dead on arrival. I have an online American Legion account. I am unable to log into the Legion+ app. I have attempted to use my Legion website credentials to login and that fails. I have attempted to create a new Legion+ account entered my last name and member number, then the app asks feed back my whole name, but fails to recognize my email or send me verification codes. It’s impossible to use this app.

Doesn’t Work
The app will not find my information to create a Legion+ account. I input my Last Name and Member ID (I’ve been a Legion member for several years), and it says there is an error and can’t find an account matching that info. Please fix this.
Useless
APP is useless. I try to create an account and have been told noone with my last name or menbership number exists. Kind of contradicts my Lifetime membership card that has my last name and membership number the APP refuses to recognize. Forgot to mention the 36 year member part on the yearly i get sent.

I have a legion on line account, I can’t login to this app, it will not accept my o line credentials or let me create a new one.

Won’t let me log in using my I formation.
