Lego Vidiyo
Here is the real deal about Lego Vidiyo. I just downloaded the app today, and here is what I’ve noticed so far.
So when I opened the app it said that it would stop updating after January, 2024. The app still works and you can’t really notice any difference. When I downloaded it on one iPad, the sound was not working on the app but was working on other apps. This is super frustrating! Please fix this. I tried it on another device and luckily it worked. So the app was actually really good! It requires a special set from Lego in the Vidiyo edition, but I already had it.
The setup was really easy. You just have to scan your character and stage, and you’re all set. The controls are easy to use, but the song options are limited. There are only a few songs, which is a little disappointing. Otherwise everything else was okay. I really like this app because it has cool features and you can see other people’s videos. The only other thing was that you need to have a Lego account to share, comment/heart, and save videos. This was kinda annoying. This app is also made for kids, and is kid appropriate. This app has no rude comments or anything like that. This is a cool experience to try! Something that I really like about this app is that there are no ads and no “premium” things that make you have to pay! BAD
I want to know why ALL my progress just disappeared. If I don’t get an answer, I’m changing that review. I worked so hard, and now it’s ALL GONE. FIX THIS FAST. The game was fun till I lost everything. Result Hi. Me again. Please fix this really fun app. My response we was to contact someone, but you should just fix the app. Please. I am really disappointed and that will lead to more disappointment from others who worked so hard. Please get back to me!!🥺

This is the best Lego app and toy I ever bought it’s amazing I love how much dances and stuff to make your character use and how you can make your own music video and share it safely this app is amazing and you can share it safely so fun for any age kids and adults
Very safe for kids
I was very happy with how this game is so appropriate for kids you can only comment width emojis and a safety team checks all of the videos before they are posted and pictures, so yes I am very impressed with this. You should really get it. It is really fun and it is keeping me and my family occupied but if you don’t want your kids to be on their electronics all day I don’t recommend this for you because it is highly addicting, have fun!!!!😆

So much fun!
I love legos and music, so this was naturally fun for me! I have a LEGO Life account that I use for this app, but one day it completely vanished. I could not recall the information I used to sign in and my account was lost. Is there a way to get it back? Thanks this game is so fun!
Good Idea
When I first heard about this app, I thought, “Wow! That is such an amazing idea! I can’t wait to get the app!” But the app spends too much time loading, and it is extremely hard to move around the app. Plus, the app took up over half of my IPad storage space, so I had to eventually delete it.
Another thing is that there are loopholes. My little brother and I realized that if you search up a picture of one of the minifigures on the stand with beatbits, it would think that you had the set.
So yeah. You guys had a good idea, you just could have made it work a little bit better.

Love it! One problem
So there is this bug it’s been since I got the app, when I scan the beatbits it stays as it was and does not change. Please fix this! But the game is great I would recommend. Thanks for taking your time to read this!
I love Lego VIDIYO!
I love Lego VIDIYO! So fun! After that one update last year ( think it was after Halloween or Christmas, one of those,), I lost all my stuff. My outfits, beatbits, bands, etc. were all gone! Somehow my gallery had all the videos though. After scanning the boombox, all the Series one minifigs, nearly all the S1 beatbits, and a half-dozen beat-boxes, I am not really motivated to scan them all again. ( still really love the sets) please fix this issue! I know there might not be much to do about it, and I don’t have a Lego life account to log back into. There is another glitch where it always asks my date of birth, as if it were making me redo the tutorial. Lego VIDIYO is still a definite keeper, and I hope they release the S2 figures in our region and stop discontinuing the already released ones. I sincerely hope this does not go the same way LEGO Hidden Side went. Keep on with those fresh updates! See ya!

Good game…but what happened?
So, this game was AWESOME. But where did all the songs go? I heard that Lego is going to stop the VIDIYO products and app, but don’t listen to me until you double check that. The app used to be awesome. What would help is if Lego added a feature to the app where you could upload your own music instead of them having to constantly add new songs.

Great app

Awesome!
I absolutely love this app I have quite a few characters and love making videos. I would definitely recommend this to other people. The only things that I don’t like is that you have to buy the characters for the app and these characters are kinda expensive. If they were a little bit cheaper I would definitely put 5 stars. Also, I don’t like that the bandmates are a mystery, and you don’t know what you’re gonna get. Because of this I ended up with 2 werewolves.

Love it
I love the aspect of making a music video. It is fun because there is a kid safe posting site where you can comment and post your videos. You can also make videos with you in them and the effects are so cool. My only complaint is that there aren’t a lot of songs to chose from. But the idea of the cool characters and the stage effects are so cool!!! Also you can make a band with a funny name and combine your VIDIYO sets, every time you make a video you get coins that you can spend on new outfits. You can also rank up which is so cool 😎! Thank you lego for making this awesome app!

Disappointed
I purchased one of these sets for each of my 3 kids because I was told at a Lego store they would be compatible with any handheld device. Specifically asking if they would work with kids fire 7’s that is not the case I find out now. So frustrating one more thing my kids will need my phone to access. Disappointed I wouldn’t have purchased them had I known- should have done my own research.

The best ever
Whenever I use this app, it blows me away. It’s like so cool! So I hope that everyone who enjoys legos will get to use this app. Because it’s just really fun for kids. And if any parents are reading, please just go to the lego store buy your kid a VIDIYO set and let them have fun with the app. For any recommendations I would like to have a search for the song list. Because my sister always wants to do savage love, but the app doesn’t show that song. Which is wierd. Because I got this app on my grandmas iPad, and it was there so I’m not sure if they deleted the song or it disappeared somehow. I had 1 recommendation and that is it for my review!

I love it!!! But it crashes….
This game gets me up at 1:00 AM to play! It’s so fun! But one thing I don’t really like is that it crashes. I was playing the game and it just kept automatically logging off until I went outside to play soccer. The next day, it finally worked!! But I was wrong… IT LOGGED ME OUT!, AGAIN!!!! So 2 days later I played and it worked! (For real this time) So I hope they can fix these crashes so it doesn’t affect other people.

I just love that it can make LEGOs dance my brothers plays it to .that’s what made me interested l started at a hotel and playing was so awesome and extremely exciting so maybe we can get some sleep and maybe they will even make more stuff so we can do so much more and all can help we can give video people big big ideas and then we can make it a better yay writ a review and then This will change your life.

Need more songs make songs longer
This app is enjoyable and fun to scan the band mates and then add the effects, but the app only has a few songs and they are only parts of the song. After a while you use all the songs and then the app gets boring. I recommend this app but it can get boring. Also the app needs a customer service option. I had almost every band ate and I had to rescan every single one because the app deleted all my progress if the developers even look at this review please look into this issue

Fun but can’t post videos
My videos have been in the moderators for 2 days and they don’t say if they are approved or not. Before i was having a problem with log in ( i was able too log in after ) but now it’s the videos. Please fix it, thanks.

Whelp what can you say…..
Brought this for my daughter. Who was really excited to have this. Twice she tried to record a video. After that part was done everything on the screen disappeared. All she was left with was her band mate just standing there. We pressed all over the screen, and restarted the app. Same thing happen plus we’re having to start the process all over again. She is basically still trying to make the first video. I may try a third time to see if a different outcome happens. But it’s VERY unlikely that I’ll give it a fourth try if it still isn’t working.
