Very glitchy app

Love the light switches, but the app rarely connects to the system. Sometimes reinstalling helps, but not always.

Worst customer service

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They just kept flipping me back and forth to the same department. When I was finally able to speak with someone he ask for my email so that he could send instructions on how to fix connection problems. Why I said I will call back if I need help the customer service guy said don’t call back figure it out yourself. We were so shocked. I said I am a senior and not good at this stuff. He totally ignored me and asked if there is anything he could help with and before I could answer he said good luck and hang up. I will keep calling till problem is fixed even if I need to call a thousand times

Very glitchy app

This app only works about half of the time, and Apple Watch version never works. Most of the time we can’t even get it to connect to our system.

Not working after latest upgrade

I upgraded to the latest version of the APP, and now my scenes are not working (simple
stuff: lights on at 6pm / lights off at midnight). Frustratingly, I can’t review the scenes remotely when I’m not on the same WiFi network as the l
Legrand.
Pretty disappointing as it had been working well for years on an earlier APP version.

Great for making sure your kids don’t leave the lights on

Turn off all the lights in your home without getting out of bed great before leaving and entering home. Some connections issues at times unclear if it’s app or connectivity

Horrendous app

Terrible app. Doesnt allow scene modification

Company that leaves its customers behind

We built our house in 2017 purchased the adorn series system. It was very expensive and expensive to program and we had nothing but problems and then we replaced the lighting for the Wi-Fi twice. Had to replace some devices and on the original one we weren’t told that you could have an option of the hub so we switched to the Wi-Fi, we had that were automatically going on and off on their own. When the outdoor lights would go on, it would turn off the interior lights and recently we’ve had all the lights flashing throughout the house and some of the lights going on and off. I learned that they no longer have replacement lights. They no longer have replacement hubs and after many communications trying to get an answer if they’re going to end the app, I would like to know before I buy a hub from a third-party so that we have a back up because without the hub you can’t operate the lights, I was told they’re going to phase out the app and leave its customers behind! If this true, what a terrible company to leave it customers behind who invested thousands of dollars in legrand and qmotion and we won’t be able to operate the lighting and when we’re traveling or not at home will be able to have automatic lights go on. They created a new system and left their previous customers behind and didn’t integrate anything to work for their customers. I understand products are phased out, but I’ve never purchased a product or worked with a company that doesn’t have something that is compatible or where they don’t even offer support. They only have one person in the company that can currently offer support. Why would anyone want to buy Legrand again just to be phased out shortly after you purchase I was told by a Legrand employee that the new system is extremely difficult and much more difficult to program and they don’t know if the new products will be faced out and another one suggested I go to Lutron or two I think they said Phillips. I think that says a lot when someone from a company tells you to go elsewhere. How can you trust a company that doesn’t think about the thousands of people left behind causing tens of thousands of dollars and loss. I would love to know what all of the customers like myself are doing and what they decide to purchase to replace the Leon products. 10/17/24 Re: Issues I simply answered your question, with a provided option for your situation. With OnQ no longer making RFLC light switches and app support ending next year, I have given the best course of action one can take. For additional support on this Case please respond to this email. Re: Issues Full app support for the Lighting Control App will end December 31st, 2025 at 11:59pm EST, again if you are still experiencing issues with the light switches, we recommend having an electrician come out and replace them with either the NETATMO Lighting System, or a Lighting System from a different company, like Lutron or Phillips For additional support on this Case please respond to this email The devices so unreliable or constantly changing them and they don’t make them anymore. We have lights that are going on by themselves and when some lights turn off from the scenes, it will cause other lights to go on and when some lights go out, it’ll turn off interior lights. The system has started flashing inside the house as if it was being programmed and then you can’t use the lights for 20 minutes and this happens randomly throughout the day and night and limited to no support from Legrand. My electrician keeps coming over and over and we can’t figure it out and Legrand can’t either. When I purchased, I asked if they were new and they failed to tell me it’s on 14-year-old technology that they knew that they were going to phase out and leave customers behind. I would’ve never purchased if I knew that it was on old technology. I would’ve at least tried to inquire about what’s coming next and waited it out. It’s a nightmare. It also doesn’t help when FPL has so many issues and if you have a generator, it’s a problem because in the test it doesn’t always put out clean power we shouldn’t have as many problems as we do. I think LeGrande realized that what they created in the touch was not a good product. Legrand is going to phase out the app. They’re not going to spend the money to stop bugs and issues and then everyone will be forced to purchase an entire new lighting system.

Solid and consistent performance

The Legrand wedding control system with the LC 7001 head end has been installed in my home for at least 10 years. It has provided rocksolid performance the entire time. I’ve never had to replace a device or the head end. Every once in a while, the app will not connect locally, when I am at home and shows me connected remotely, however that may be more a function of my network than the system. Highly recommend.

Connection Problem

App won’t connect to my home net work.

Beware!

Seriously, look for another company. You will be soooo frustrated with how these devices fall off of their system. You constantly have to read these devices. Happens every two weeks or so. I wish I could sue them for all the downtime and all the time I spend reconnecting devices.

Completely useless piece of garbage

Do not buy anything from Legrand — ever. I regretfully installed thousands of dollars worth of wifi light switches in my house and they do not work. Yes, there are installation videos on their website and my lights did work for a few years but after the most recent firmware update, the app will no longer connect to the lights, rendering the entire wifi application completely useless. Even the lighting store that I bought these switches from admits that they’re terrible products and won’t recommend them to anyone. They look nice and when they do work (like they’re supposed to), they’re great. But the bottom line is, they don’t work. Super disappointed. I will never buy anything Legrand ever again.

11 zones Adorn

Stunning looks and superior function-ability. I can control all of my kitchen lights, under counter, hall, table spots over sink with one touch switch. I dim 25, 50, full power- one touch and still have single light control. Expensive but the best.

An App for Oscar

Oscar the Grouch would love this piece of garbage.

The
Worst
App
Ever.

Connectivity Issues

The new update creates massive issues with connectivity for remote access. The system cannot be located, the app is unresponsive, etc. Those very basic features needs to be fixed.

Adorne Legrand Switch compatibility

Literally the most frustrating thing ever. Alexa and Legrand light control app do not work well together.
All switches show up as unresponsive in the Alexa app no matter what I do.

Terrible product

Worked for years and then boom… app stopped and can’t control anything. Wasted days trying to figure it out. Don’t waste your money

Don’t buy

Superb when it works. Insanely annoying when all lights turn on in the middle of the night for no reason.

Zero stars for app AND hardware

Spent a lot of money during a whole house remodel in 2018 to change to Legrand RF switches. What a waste of money. The only positive comment I have is that the switches themselves look great. Other than that here are the things that aren’t great… - Three way switches keep losing their “pairing” to each other. So sometimes the paired switch is essentially dead. Which then causes all the lights on that circuit to not respond to the app on my phone or in wall scene controllers. Seems to happens randomly. - App is glitchy. Sometimes the app shows specific lights are off when they are on and vice versa. Must repeatedly tap the on off “slider” on the app for each switch to “wake up” the switches. - App has trouble connecting to the hub. Cue the spinning wheel of death! This is not an issue with my phone or WiFi. I have no trouble connecting to my Lutron hub (I have since started using Lutron Caseta plugs for table lamps and LOVE the Lutron product) - In wall scene controller or a scene from app must be activated repeatedly to set all of the lights on a scene. Lights are set in a random order EVERY TIME and I never know which light is going to be skipped by a controller so I have to go room to room to make sure each light was set properly defeating the purpose of a one touch programmed scene! - Hub must often be rebooted to get anything to work from app and/or scene controller (requires unplugging or inserting a pin into a tiny hole in back of a device that is hidden in a cabinet with other equipment). What a pain! I’m tired of being a contortionist to get my overpriced lighting system to work. This app seemed to get more glitchy when Legrand shifted away from Artik cloud to their own Eliot cloud remote access system. (I spent hours on the phone with technical support trying to figure out how to get my programming from artik to Eliot to no avail.) I’ve kept the app updated and routinely reboot WiFi and my phone and I do not have issues with any of my other smart home equipment or interfaces. Seems like Legrand engineering missed the boat and left all of its customers standing on the dock with them. Next project I’m going with Lutron. Legrand it would be nice if you helped my existing switches be more than just nice looking wall decor. Right now they are pretty dumb. Nothing smart about them.

Nightmare

There is no “edit” button! Also the app does not connect to the system so it has zero functionality.

Frustrating

Without a doubt this is dumbest smart home technology I own. Avoid to keep your sanity.
Update…. Their support is as bad as the app!
