I get there in the end but I find this app a little clunky and unintuitive.

Trying to sign up and it won’t accept my mobile number.
Tried multiple options with spaces, without spaces, +44, and my partners number! Nothing works and I cannot create an account on this app.

New to Colchester.
We have used the leisure centre only a few times, then Covid hit.
It’s a great venue, easy parking, friendly staff. It’s beautifully clean, and maintained.
Being new to Colchester we, the grandchildren and our kids love the place.
I’m hoping to enrol in more activities to get rid of the weight I gained whilst in lockdown etc.

Whoever developed this isn’t very good
And, I think it’s fair to say, whoever commissioned, tested, quality checked and paid for it isn’t very good. Maybe they don’t use this app themselves?
Here’s an example - I tried to book a court, got to the end payment stage and I couldn’t proceed without setting up a new account. I clicked the button, set up an account using the password manager’s suggestion for a password (not human rememberable) expecting it to be saved in my keychain like every other app does, but it seems that’s far too easy. When I tried to then log in, the password isn’t saved, I don’t know what it is and so I need to reset my password. To do so, I have to go to a website and input a user number (a random number generated when I set up my account sent to my email address) and not my actual email address, so now the saved password for the website is in my keychain, even if the username is this random number which isn’t of much use (the randomly generated number is only used to change password; to login, it’s the email address).
So, back to the app. I can now access the complex password automatically generated by my password manager to log in, by manually telling my password manager to use the password from the website. I then have to manually type in my email address. And finally, I can log in. But, the court booking I originally tried to book was not remembered and I had to start from scratch again to find a court.
Developers - use the password manager like everyone else does, make sure all functions are within the app (rather than having to rely on a web browser for some of them, like password resets) and don’t let users get to the end of a booking process to only discover you need an account to pay, and don’t then lose all the information on the booking.
