Hard to use
Leds are not bright, spaced to far apart, and the app is ridiculously hard to use. Also there is NO WHITE LIGHT SETTING NOR OPTION
Does not work
Everytime I try to connect to my light I have to reboot the lights, get a new name for my current lights and when I try to configure them the app disconnects from the lights and the whole process starts over. Not useful at all, wish I could find another app that worked!

Terrible
This app is so bad! Why is there NO OPTION TO ADD A TIMER! No option to do solid light patterns, no option to do individual light color patterns!
Mess
Please don’t waste your money on this product. You will not be happy. Doesn’t do anything it shows on the box. Can’t even set a schedule
Extremely Disappointed
Honestly, probably the worst app that I’ve attempted to use in years. No instructions, constant crashing / dropping Bluetooth connection and most importantly, impossible to create a schedule in order to set auto on/off. This also makes it impossible to keep the same color scheme each time. Also, the remote that came w/the lights was non-functional straight out of the box. Lastly, forget about using this w/a WiFi plug. None will work. My 12 year old could have done better, Lemon. This E-Waste is going right back to Amazon for a refund!

Can’t connect to lights
No matter where the control box is in relation to the WiFi extender, it consistently said “Cannot connect to router” or “Failed to connect to device”, even giving the false hope as the loading screen took several minutes and fully loaded only to say nothing happened. I have wasted time and money with this awful system and no one in their right mind should ever buy these.

App review
Terrible app, as if this thing was created by programmers with no connection to the real world. The actual colors do not match the app.
Would like more programming options
I like to have a really fun program early in the evening but I wish I could program it to do a dimmer version or a less flashy program at the time my kids go to bed because it glows above their windows and can make it hard to sleep. I would also love to have a different program to come on in the morning. It only allows you to set 1 program and automate what times it turns on and off. I also would like to be able to program individual bulbs or for it to allow patterns with individual bulbs alternating colors like a pattern of red,white,blue. I like that I can program white lights in a variety of temperature (cool-warm) and brightness levels, but I cannot choose a white color to be in a program with other colors.

Chinese spyware
If you actually read the user agreement you will be shocked. It literally says that when you create an account, Shenzhen Xigao Technology Co, Ltd. WILL collect health data including statistics on height, weight, running, swimming, and body fat scales. Why in the world would my Christmas lights need to know if I went swimming today?!? Furthermore, it claims that you can use the app in “try now” mode without logging in or creating an account. No such mode exists. If you click on disagree, the app closes. If you click on agree, the only options are log in and create account. Outright lies! Wake up, people! Every day, we blindly check off yes and give these corporations permission to collect VERY personal data about us.

Needs improvement
Lights look great but hard to figure out scheduling, (app could be better and need instructions on app),very bright lights for the $.
Having built in screw holes on the light is great help putting them up. Only used tape in a couple spots
Would like to see individual light control option.

Don’t buy
The app and the light are a bunch of garbage. You only get screwed and never get any support. Amazon will not help. Spend your money on Govee lights instead.

Horrible app!! It keeps kicking me off and won’t let me connect!! Keeps saying it’s offline even though WiFi is good! Do not recommend at all!! Customer support will not help!!

Awful app
The colors I choose in the DIY don’t not match up with what comes on my lights if I pick purple it’s light green if I pick green it’s dark purple my scenes to don’t match up if I want Christmas theme I have to select 3 scenes down to get it wish this could be fixed spent too much money on these lights for them not to work how intended!

Needs more refinement
Needs the ability to program light by light instead of 5-6 led pods sections. Been trying create just white light on corners of a home and just can’t do it in the current programming. Please add some more function to the app. Thank you!
