What exactly was wrong with short and long beeps as error codes? Those were easy to write down and lookup - no special application (that does not work) needed…

Mikrofon geht mit Trick
Bei mir ging das Mikrofon zunächst auch nicht. Obwohl ich sicher beim ersten Start den Zugriff aufs Mikrophon erlaubt habe, musste ich den iPhone Einstellungen unter Apps > Lenovo PC… nochmal die Mikrofon rechte anmachen.
Danach hat es perfekt geklappt und die App hat anhand des Piepend mein Thinkpad Modell erkannt und eine Anleitung präsentiert die den Fehler direkt behoben hat.
Von dem her 5 von 5, fühlt sich nur sehr altbacken an, daher 4 Sterne

Melodie beim Starten. ThinkCenter M73 der Fehler war ein RAM Modul (Slot getauscht) dann lief wieder alles. Aber die App hat trotz mehrerer Versuche nichts erkannt.

Die App ist leider vollkommen unnütz. Sie erkennt die Töne schlichtweg einfach nicht und eine Diagnose ist völlig unmöglich.
Works great, first time I used it
It immediately identified the ThinkPad beep code and then the ThinkPad’s serial number and offered me a link to begin a service event with Lenovo without me having to type anything at all. Their support website said this app only works with ThinkStation on an iOS phone, but when I installed and opened it I was presented with three Lenovo machine types to choose from, including ThinkPad. I’m impressed with how good this has worked for me so far.
