Truly excellent
My family has been using Paperless-ngx for about a year, and it’s wonderful. It’s installed on a home network server (Ubuntu 24.04 LTS) and we use web clients and iOS / iPadOS apps for adding and browsing our documents. The server is backed up with an online / offsite subscription. It’s a life-saver. Super-quick scanning and categorization by all members of our family, with preset rules to simplify the process. And very fast and easy searching and retrieval. Combined with offsite backup, it’s the best of all worlds: easy, fast document archiving and secure, safe long-term storage.

The best Paperless mobile client
This is the best way to use Paperless on your phone. Basically all of the functionality of the Paperless web app is in this mobile app, and the developer is making this app better with each release.
