What's New in Lesson Complete
4.1.1
August 1, 2026
Fixed an issue where the profile photo screen could get stuck on first login. When you added a photo from the "Add your photo and bio" prompt, the crop screen's Cancel and Save buttons could sit hidden behind the status bar, leaving no way out but force-quitting the app. They now always land inside the safe area, from every entry point. Also in this update: • Month view is now a continuous wheel of months. Swipe left or right and the next month's real grid slides in beside the one you're leaving — on the teacher calendar and on a student's schedule. Every day shows its lesson count over a light wash of your school's color, so you can see how busy a day is before you read a single number. • Owners can filter the Students list by service and by teacher. Tap the filter icon in the Students header to narrow the roster to one service, one teacher, or both, combined with search. • Makeup bookings got a real calendar. Pick a day, see that day's class, confirm — and finish on a proper confirmation card instead of a plain alert. Lesson times now show your school's local time instead of your phone's, your Home screen shows a card when you have makeup credits waiting, and owners can turn Private Makeup Times on or off from the phone. • Tapping a sign-in link from your school now opens the app and signs you in directly, with no browser step in between. • You can send a photo by text from a message thread — tap the photo button on the Text (SMS) channel, pick a picture, and send. • Adding a school closure now shows you exactly what families will receive — the real dates, your reason, and each family's own lessons — and you can edit the whole message before it goes out. • A School Update with an event attached now shows the event as a tappable card, and tapping a staff-update notification opens the feed — or the event — directly. • Time Off opens with a quick three-step explainer the first time you visit, and you can reopen it anytime from the "?" button. • Referral rewards now name the unit they're paid in — "12 lesson credits" or "$1,925" — instead of one unitless number.
