How to sketch to vector?????
Response from developer
Thanks for your honest feedback — and I'm sorry for the time you spent trying to figure this out. To find this feature much more easily in the latest version: 1. Import an image and add it to a glyph. 2. Look for the new button next to the invert color button (moon shape icon). 3. Tap it to trace the sketch to a vector path. Long press the same button for additional settings. Please ensure you're on the newest release. Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for the honest feedback. We hear you, and you're right — a great tool needs great guidance. We've added better built-in tutorials in the latest update. You can find them in the "Learn" tab (the third tab at the bottom of the main "Font Families" screen on iPhone or on the sidebar on iPad). We're committed to making this app intuitive and powerful. Please give the new tutorials a try and let us know what you think.

Hi! Thank you for the feedback and for being willing to give it another try — that means a lot. To enter editing mode: Tap to select a glyph (letter/symbol). A round, blue "Edit" button will appear on the bottom. Tap that button to enter the full editor. We've also redesigned the interface and added a step-by-step guide in the "Learn" tab to make everything clearer. We really hope you find it more intuitive now and have fun creating!

Sorry for your confusion. You can find tutorials by tapping the Heart icon at the top, then the second tab at the bottom. It’s indeed a little buried, we’ll try doing something with it. Sorry again!

love it, but it doesnt' seem to work right now?
Problem is right now it doesn't seem to be working at all. Is there a reason it doesn't work? Do you have more documentation and help? Will pay! If you don't want to keep building this, I will!
Response from developer
Hi, thanks for the stars. You can find tutorials in the app from the HEART icon on the top main page then the second tab at the bottom. Also, if you have any specific questions, you are welcome to contact me through the email found within the app. Hope you’ll enjoy the app.
Powerful little app
I needed to created a self styled Hebrew font for laser engraving (Stock font options just were not going to do for this project), and once I plugged in the the Unicode symbols for the characters, I was off to editing. Kerning is not super intuitive, but Im sure Ill overcome that learning curve as well... I can adjust as needed in the design software... Overlaps seemed to give prolems upon export, so a bit of reworking was necessary to simply remove any and all. But lesson learned on first go, so next should be easier.
Kudos to the developer of this software. Thanks for creating a tool that truly adds value to the craft of being a designer.
I dont know what the buttons do.
Response from developer
Hi Dylan, thank you for this very specific feedback from long ago. We wanted to follow up to let you and any new users reading this know that the issue you described has long been resolved. The interface you encountered, which relied heavily on Unicode characters for buttons, was part of our very early prototype. We have since completely rebuilt the app with a custom, professional icon system and a redesigned UI. The buttons are now clear, visually distinct, and designed for readability. We appreciate you taking the time to point this out during the app's early days. It directly contributed to the much more polished and usable app we have today.
So confusing
Response from developer
Thank you for taking the time to write this detailed feedback, even though it came from a very frustrating experience. We are truly sorry for the state of the app when you used it. You were not wrong. That version has been completely rewritten. We addressed every point you raised: 1. Stability & Crashes: The app has been rebuilt for stability. The crashes you described should be resolved. 2. Drawing Tools: You can now draw and curve lines freely with updated vector tools. The template behavior has been fixed. 3. UI/UX: The interface and sidebar interactions have been completely redesigned based on extensive user testing. 4. Pricing Model: This is the biggest change: You can now create complete fonts (letters, numerals, symbols) for free. The subscription is only for advanced features and exports. We know an apology can't change your past experience, but we hope this shows how seriously we took feedback like yours. If you ever reconsider, we believe the current version is a fundamentally different and better app.
It works well!
Response from developer
Thank you so much for the positive review! I’m so happy that you find the app enjoyable. Regarding how to set kernings, I have added a tutorial for it. Just go from the top Heart Button, then the second tab to see it.
Won't run on iPad or my Mac Pro
Response from developer
Sorry for your bad experience. It’s especially frustrating when the app works fine on my own devices but not on others’. To give me a chance to fix what’s causing it, would you mind sharing the crash log so I can know where it went wrong? If you don’t mind, in your iPad settings, under Privacy, there’s Analytics & Improvements down below. Then inside it, there is Analytics Data, where you can search for “Letterforms” to show its crash logs. Open one and share to weijiuqiao@gmail.com. There is no identifying information about the user inside so it’s anonymous.
App Bombs
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback. The latest version has fixed several bugs that could lead to a crash and added tool instructions on long press. The app started out as an iOS app with more of a touchscreen intended design. The recent addition of macOS support has been bumpier than expected. I will keep working on it and any feedback is welcomed.
Eh
начало работы
И само начало работы также непонятно. В руководстве все подробно написано, но на деле – все другое!
