Profile fails to load
In the past week or so I have found my Lexus profile continually failing to load onto my car. Even when I connect my iPhone with the app running and connected. Connectivity between the app and my car is constantly failing and I’m fed up having to keep entering my profile password fresh every time I start my car.

Good app
I used it mainly to close the car when I forgot.Then scheduled start in Winter. The ratings for driving is not really helpful. What is missing ? I would love an integration with Alexxa to start the car in the morning. Also closing the window or closing the car automatically when the keys are far enough. One annoying thing, the session last only a couple of weeks and you need to sign in again even if you use FaceID

Very unhappy
Since the latest update I am struggling to charge our Lexus 300e. I want to charge during the day as we have solar system. When I plug in the app tells me it is waiting for restricted hours to end even though I have this function turned off. I have also tried setting schedules to no avail. Finally I tried to contact help through the app but still haven’t had a reply. Finally tried to override the app and use the smart card but this gives the same results. I now have a car on my drive that cannot be used. You have made changes to the app adding more functions but can I suggest you keep it simple and operable.

Annoying at Times
On most occasions the functions operate well but responses are slower than I would expect. The most irritating issues are the App becoming frozen when WiFi is not readily found even when a strong 4 or 5G signal is showing on my iPhone or when another conflict is detected. There appears to be no way of exiting the App short of turning my phone off. The log in process is also unnecessarily complicated requiring too many steps.
Thank you for your email requesting further information on lock out. Just now I opened the app to verify that the battery had charged on schedule last night. The screen showed yesterday’s data and ‘updating’. I pressed battery status. The app switched to the battery status screen and a circulating wheel displayed over a shaddowed screen. The app is now locked in this status. If I leave the app and return some time later it requests Face ID to log in and opens at the same screen. The App appears to be continuously searching for a wifi signal. Yet moving to a location where I know there is a strong wifi signal changes nothing. The only way of escape is to restart my iPhone.

Brilliant
So far so good, it is very user friendly.
Poor functionality
An ok app for checking on your car charge or whether doors are locked but frustrating that every few days it forgets who you are and you need to go through full log on procedure.
My only experience of the charging network was shocking -using the Lexuscard/app I was charged 30% more than the cost I’d paid through a debit card for the same charger and same time of day!!

Ohne Internet kein Log In - somit kein Autoschlüssel!
An und für dich gute App….ABER: wenn der Digital Key genutzt wird, hast Du vielleicht ein Problem. Ich hatte es jedenfalls: Stehe an der Ladesäule und hatte die Lexus Link+ App geschlossen. Wollte nach dem Ladevorgang wieder wegfahren, ging nicht. Warum? Kein Internet!! Gibt’s ja leider des Öfteren in Deutschland. Und jetzt? Ohne Schlüssel an der Autobahn wird’s doof. Zum Glück war McDonald’s in der Nähe, mit offenem WLAN. App geöffnet und zurück zum Auto (das ich noch nicht mal mehr abschließen konnte). Echt schlecht!! Warum lässt sich die App nicht einfach per Passwort öffnen? Das Auto ist mit Bluetooth verbunden, alles wäre in Ordnung gewesen. So macht es jedenfalls BMW, da hatte ich nie solche nervigen Probleme. Ergo: Immer Schlüssel dabei haben! Nur wozu dann den Digital Key??? Ein schlauer Programmierer wird’s wohl wissen….

Can't get facial recognition to work with Lexus app on my iPhone 16. Otherwise the app is very good
Absolutely terrible app
Thank goodness the car isn’t as unreliable and unintuitive as the app and information system. It is shocking beyond belief.

Pity the app is not as functional in Europe
In Canada and the US- the app can be used to start the engine and park the car while you stand outside. But not in Europe.
Too many clicks
It has taken a while to get used to this new version. The previous version was much clearer and easier to see the important things without extra clicks.
Please can you include MPG on the ‘trips’ page instead of average speed. I am sure people are much more interested in MPG than average speed. It would be good to not have to click into everyone trip to see it like you could before, especially as when you go back it takes you to the top of the list instead of remembering your place in the list.
