Update dropped support for speaker
After updating the app, it claims my LG-XG5Q speaker is no longer supported and I cannot change any light settings or access the equalizer anymore. They literally removed existing functionality.

I bought a speaker for almost $1000 and it won’t even work with the app and it’s an ex boom speaker and the manual told me to download this app but it don’t work. It says my speaker is non-compatible.

When I first got speaker it said to get the app, now it’s not compatible! 👍🏼🤦🏻♂️
Great Speakers - mediocre App
I love the XL5 and 7 speakers - especially in Stereo Party pairing mode.
The App is a bit limp though.
One thing that would really help is to have a better equalizer especially a BALANCE funktion so you can control the volume of Left and Right individually.

Horrible app
Apparently LG thinks the App is more stable if the take away the features that wee working perfectly. I wish I could roll back to the previous version that worked with iOS. I can no longer play my jLG-XG2T speakers in stereo party link mode. Fail!!!
How difficult is for LG to offer the version of this app that works with my LG-XG2T speakers? I can’t connect with 2 speakers in party mode for stereo audio!! Before the “update” it worked fine. Now the only option is stereo sound thru one speaker? Terrible app from a company that has plenty of experience and resources to make the app compatible. Did Android developers decide Apple iOS users don’t matter?

The App is so sync with the speaker, and I can change the bass and treble very well with my LG speakers. When I connect all party speakers together it creates a big sound wave. 100% recommendation if you got a LG SPEAKER.

I used to really like this app, now I cannot connect because my speaker is older than 2 years old?? I now can’t change the colour back, check the battery percentage or turn off by the app.

Aplicativo nojento e abandonado pela LG, você compra uma caixa cara e não consegue usá-la adequadamente… Deveria ter comprado uma JBL. Pelo que vi aqui nos comentários, esse problema é bem antigo e a LG está cagando e andando.
