Needs improvement
This app does not contain nearly enough songs for me to get $400 worth out of my guitar. I like that they have a wish list for you to submit songs you'd like them to add, but I highly doubt they'll get to them anytime soon. I wish that they had a way for users to create songs to share with others. But most importantly this app should do what even the most basic app does... connect between device devices. I started using the app with my iPad, but unless I take my iPad everywhere with me, I'm kind of screwed because when I downloaded the app on my phone and logged in none of my saves were there. đ

It does not support their new model U1, there is no way you can use the guitar
Not Enough for Serious Musicians
My app works fine, but there arenât enough selections of chords for those who want to venture out beyond the basics. Also, thereâs no electric guitar features/strumming. Itâs all acoustic sounds. For a guitar that is technically electric, this is severely disappointing. I would love a larger selection of chords and something beyond acoustic sounds. No one needs the piano feature, why didnât they take that effort and put it into creating ârock guitarâ sounds? Great if youâre looking for a fun toy, but not great if youâre looking for an expansive guitar with extensive chord mapping. Also, once youâve mapped the chords and saved the setting, it magically reverts to the default setting when returning to the song youâve worked very hard to create. Bring an old-fashioned pen and pencil if you really want to save your work for a future session.

App needs a serious update
The app is fairly straightforward and easy to use but there are way too many songs in the Explore section that have indecipherable writing and you have to constantly sort through a ton of songs to select the one you want. It definitely needs the ability to sort and filter songs. Itâs just too cumbersome! Also it would be nice if background music could be played with the songs since Iâm not familiar with some of the song melodies.

many players are using iPad to read score sheet. Hope your company will publish iPad version soon. The current version is not friendly to iPad.

There is no update for the C2 version. I bought the C2 to play, not to wait. Sad
App faults and no response.
Easy app interface, but for a so called easy instrument to play it has a bit of a learning curve to get the rhythm right and knock out something to sing along to at tempo. Itâs vital to play in time, on the beat, to the songs library tunes to get a result. A metronome audible click option and a play through of the song is essential. Please add them. A visual indication of where a songâs bars start and end would be useful too.

App enhancements.
I enjoy the device and the app appears adequate I do wish it had the ability to sort the songs. Iâd like it to be able to put my favorites at the top so I wouldnât need to scroll through the entire list to find them. Also, the ability to sort on new entries would help. Thank you.
Lost work
Spent hours setting up my device for my play style. All my presets and styles are gone, even my name has changed. Deleting and reloading results in the same. This app is Just not ready for prime-time!
Strumming Patterns
I love my Smart Guitar and this app adds so much more to the guitar. I desperately want a way to create my own strumming patterns though. Whenever I want to play a song not included on the song library it doesnât sound right because the strumming pattern doesnât match or I just have to do a single down strum. Also I wish instead of the obscure names for the provided patterns that it would tell us the exact pattern. Ex. D-D-U âU-D-U. I feel these will make the app and the guitar more accessible to everyone who wants to play a different song or experiment and create with it.

Limited Songs Selections
Useful app to play with my LiberLive C1 guitar. However this is an international app and unfortunately the songs selection are limited. In comparison, the China version of the app is much more comprehensive. I hope that the vendor can improve on this version of the app to be up to par with their China version. Otherwise it will be a waste for such a brilliant product to be limited by the appâs songs selection.
