Not good enough
It basically replaces the plastic card to scan. You can search and place holds. All of this is available online through your browser. The most important function, notifications, is non-existent so you get no reminder of due dates or when holds are in other than trying to monitor your junk email. Even that has to be "activated" by a librarian. Looks new and modern, but functions as bad as the app.

Earlier today I can access my app okay but then a 2 or 3 hour ago it log me out and I can’t get back in
C’mon engineers
What is going on with this app? I can’t even login without it telling me “Oops! Something went wrong while processing the data.” Tried removing and reinstalling the app and same thing. I can get in just fine on the website. Software engineers, you need to do better here.
Awful app
This app is constantly down. If it wasn’t constantly down, it would be a great app. I do like how easy it is to use, but I can barely use it. It’s down right now as I’m writing this.
Multiple Cards
Love this app, but unfortunately what keeps hindering my abilities is the glitch it has when alternating between cards/accounts. After clicking on a different account or card, that card will the reflect the same name as the previous card or account I was on, ultimately and eventually appearing as if all three account or cards on the app belong to one person. Therefore, I am unable to distinguish exactly which card is which in order to know whose account I’m operating under.

Typical State of Hawaii Junk!
Terrible app; crashes and almost impossible to reinstall! Don’t bother asking staff at the library for help because they look at you like you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Needs an update badly
When it works, it’s great. I like that it allows me to easily toggle between my family’s cards and order books for pickup. However lately it has been crashing or changing the cards so it looks like they are all under the same name and I can’t access the other accounts. Aupee glitchy and needs an update!

Functional
It works most of the time. The location never actually show the library that is closest even with the location services on.
Also, I wish it had a dark mode as browsing the app in light mode hurts my eyes.

Great when it works
When it works, this app is easy and convenient. It makes the state’s wide catalog of books and media available to everyone. I can check whether a title is available, request a copy even if it’s on another island, have it delivered to a library of my choice, and get updates when it is in transit or ready for pick up.
But lately the app is unpredictable. It stops working for days, even if you log in again, restart your phone, delete the app and reinstall, etc.

Unable to log in
I have had this app since the very beginning and loved the recent major update that came along with the new logo. However, all of a sudden I was logged out and am no longer able to log in. The app gets stuck on the log in screen with the wheel spinning. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and that has not worked either. Please fix!

Needs an update badly
This app needs an update! It is so glitchy. Oftentimes it won’t load, or it tells me my library card number is no longer valid. Please update this app!
Pretty good
You can renew books and put books on hold/ check what books are available in your specific library. Make this really convenient. But there’s a ton of glitches - constantly have to delete the app and log in again. Shows a ton of errors and is really slow as well.

Lagging and unable to load
I rely on this app to check on the status of my kids books and it is unable to load or login 80-90% of the time. Please update it and fix it.
Ok app - terrible servers
App is very basic and a little user-unfriendly but it works. Big issue is the server-side; over half the time the server gives no response. Times out frequently. It’s terrible.
Doesn’t work
Never works when I need it to. Tried using it because I forgot my card and it won’t open. Doesn’t show checked out books, doesn’t show any fees. Just doesn’t work. Sometimes I might be able to search for a book, but I can use a web browser to do that.
Reinstalled to resolve login problem
I put in the wrong pin when I tried logging into my account the first time. After that, the app kept giving login error messages, even though I corrected my mistake.
I deleted and reinstalled the app, then put in my correct info, and then the app let me log in. I’m happy it worked eventually!

Website is useless
Most of the time I am unable to login. It times out or I get an error message. Now it is preventing me from borrowing digital books via Libby because the app can’t connect the website. Extremely frustrating!
So frustrating
Can’t log in with my saved card number and PIN. No way to reset it. Basically stuck on the login and can’t get past it.
Renew problems
I used to be able to renew my books through this app and that was great. But now for the last year it has not let my. It just says one or more of my books can not be renewed. I enjoyed using this app before though.
