One of the worst apps I’ve interacted with
I work at a daycare and was told to download the app to make it easier for when we don’t have the classroom tablet. What a mistake that was. The app is under developed, confusing, and most of the time it just flat out doesn’t work. And I’ve gotten the same complaints from the parents at my center too! Most of them don’t even have the app still downloaded because of how bad it is. In todays age I honestly can’t wrap my head around why this app isn’t better. It’s 2022, everything is on our phones now but this company has done nothing to improve user experience. Just use the desktop site, it’s much easier.

Worst app ever
I honestly cannot fathom why anyone would choose to use this app. The message function which is probably the most important for communicating with teachers or caregivers is TERRIBLE. Messages appear out of order and in random colors and disappear after you send them. ALSO the notifications don’t work so if a teacher messages you you don’t get notified on your phone (yes I have all notifications for the app turned on in my settings). Worst app ever.

Barely the bare minimum
I just installed the app on my phone after becoming very familiar with it on iPad. I travel between rooms and often need to log in as different classes to add observations and documentation’s. My very first time adding evidence on my phone the platform didn’t load large enough to see all the boxes, nor did it let me scroll down to find them or even hit finish/done.
When adding evidence you are unable to score or rate the evidence even by the standards used in the Vine assessment, this means you have no way of knowing if a child met the standard when you added the evidence. Teaching Strategies GOLD provides a crystal clear evaluation and scoring system that allows you to quickly see the previous results and determine future needs of a child.
My center contacted their support and they said there was no way to edit or change the roster system (which is not to code with ODJFS) or the evidence system.

How can I delete or edit any post ?
I don’t see an option for edit of delete of pictures post? I’ve posted the same picture 3 to 4 different times looking to edit I’d like to delete at least 3 of the same post but don’t seem to find the way to?
Response from developer
Hello! You can log onto the website to edit or delete an observation using the same log in credentials that you have for the Classroom App.
Can be better
After 2 updates and bug fixes I’m still having issues with logging in time. I can’t update meals, diapering or anything because the time is not visible. I can’t scroll up or down because I can’t see anything. Is anyone else having same issues
Needs work Brightwheel is better
Brightwheel is better.
Especially on android tablet the app is really lagging. It’s way over complicated I’ve used similar apps and this not one of the better ones. Usability is difficult and I’m a tech savvy person. At least on android there is no “edit” so if there is a mistype you can’t edit. If you want to add an update to a nap it only updates the time not what you’re trying to say. I wish there was a way to just take fun pictures of kids and not have to post them as “observations to learning.” All in all this is not an app I’d choose to use considering Brightwheel and other similar apps exist this is not on the top of my list.

Great app
I really like this app. Thank you!
Lifecubby classroom
As a teacher using the lifecubby classroom app makes my day so much easier. I am just a click away from communicating with the parents of my students. I can also send pictures through out the day so the parents can see how their child is doing on any given day. The app really helps the flow of our daily routines here at our center and I couldn't imagine not having it!

Quick and easy
The app makes it so easy to communicate with parents quickly! Our parents can send us a message and we immediately receive notification a message has been sent. I enjoy this feature as a parent as well!
I also love the friendliness of the app. The preschool age and older children can sign themselves in and out with ease. In a technology driven world it's important to expose our children to such programs!
