Age Restrictions & Investing • Crypto, stocks, bonds, NFTs, real estate, and brokerage accounts now require age 18. • Recurring investments and liquidation follow the same restriction. • Marketplace items now enforce their displayed age requirements. • Restrictions apply to cash, credit, and mortgage purchases without incorrectly spending money. • Trading cash can now purchase all cryptocurrencies and NFTs. • Fixed NFT navigation returning to Stocks. • Crypto now displays all available coins, including those you don’t own. Education • Studying now improves GPA even when grades reach 100%. • Ask Teacher is limited to 3 uses per year and resets after Age Up. • School Path now provides clearer next steps. • Graduate Studies includes Medicine, Law, Master’s, and Doctorate paths. Limited-Time Gift • Claim a $500 million cash gift before September 5, 2026! • The reward now correctly goes to personal cash instead of trading cash. Identity, Travel & Immigration • Gender transitions now correctly update your character and profile. • Fixed visas, relocation, citizenship, tests, renunciation, asylum, illegal entry, visa expiration, and overstay consequences. • Moving countries now correctly updates your city, country, immigration status, and visa route. • Improved Identity, Travel, and other activity category labels. Accessibility • Fixed VoiceOver and TalkBack navigation on NPC Profiles. • Fixed accessibility issues around Best Fit actions. • Fixed Start New Life and Custom Family options not appearing to screen readers. • Screen readers now focus newly revealed family, sibling, twin, parent, and pet options. • Improved character-creation focus and scrolling. Family Planning • Fixed Natural Conception rejecting compatible partners in some older saves. • Teen partners require 50 closeness and 50 trust. • Adult family-planning requirements remain unchanged. • Improved infertility, pregnancy, repeat-attempt, and age safeguards. Better Age Up • Age Up now prioritizes important events in your character’s life. • Babies and children are more likely to receive milestones like first words, first steps, preschool, and starting school. • Routine family updates are less likely to crowd out your story. • Deaths, custody, adoption, serious illness, and safety events remain prioritized. • Age Up shows up to 3 major cards. • Routine family/NPC news is limited, with extra news saved for later instead of disappearing. More Realistic Families • Generated names now better match each character’s country. • Extended relatives no longer automatically receive your surname. • Married relatives may keep their surname, take their spouse’s, or use a hyphenated name. • Children and cousins better follow their own family branch’s surname history. • Existing saves may receive a one-time family-name repair. NPC Reactions • NPCs now notice when you interact with them too much in the same year. • They may ask for space, and continuing can reduce closeness/trust and increase conflict. • Their tolerance resets after Age Up. • Switching interaction types won’t bypass their reaction. Childhood, Stability & Quality • Adult work, financial, legal, romantic, housing, and parenting stories are better prevented during childhood. • Childhood milestones now receive stronger priority. • Routine NPC news can no longer repeatedly replace required childhood milestones. • Deferred family events are preserved for later. • Improved Age Up ordering, family naming, childhood safety, and event handling.
