This one works properly and works for me !
It’s very accurate and great for film photography. Especially when vintage film camera light meters are suspect, wrong or simply no longer work. The exposure value triangle is very easy to interact with in this app. You can take spot light-meter readings from any part of the “viewfinder” / “picture”. Brilliant app that works properly. 😀

One of the best
1 small issue is the size of the text, sometimes I adjust aperture when I want to adjust SS.
Clean & Accurate
This is my favorite light meter app, by far. An extremely simple and easy way to get accurate metering quickly, and it looks great too. A bit of a learning curve (it’s extremely minimalist) but brilliant once you get the hang of it.

Amazing app with perfect exposure metering
I use Lightmate all the time with my Mint RF70. Every photo that I’ve used the metering results from Lightmate have come out stellar. If time permits, I never take a photo without it. Highly recommended. Will definitely be using this with my incoming Rollei as well.
Odd values
As a photographer I’ve never had asa/iso 560 film or 140. I want 500 but it’s not there.
Also shutter speeds 1/12s, 1/6s 1/45 etc ???
Still it works and although a bit clumsy to use - the values change too quickly as you slide your finger and can’t be locked.
No option for whole scene average reading only where you tap on the image.

I cant remember which setting is which and for some reason it’s impossible to find out, even when googling. I don’t really understand that.

Simply the best and minimalistic design and usability app. It has the Leica like feel to it. Highly recommend
Best lightmeter, has all the essentials
Honestly the best light meter app & really appreciate that it’s free. Would be nice to have a dedicated screenshot button as well as have the circle where you choose what to expose for stay on screen longer or just remain on screen so that you can reference it when you take a screenshot. Also the ability to lock the ISO/Shutter/Aperture so you don’t accidentally bump it would be useful too. Thanks!

Inaccurate
It’s off by a solid stop or stop and a half in most scenarios for digital, and about 1 1/3 stops for negatives.

All I get is a black screen and a video. Killed app and tried several times with my 14 Pro Max. Same thing. Deleted.

Simple, works!
I like that I can choose where to focus. A couple other meters I tried, I really wasn’t sure what point it was referencing to get its reading, but with this, I know!
What I wish existed was an easier way to access the tutorial after the initial view and perhaps provide a short demo video for beginners.

Just simple and perfect
Looks like the developer set the camera to 50mm to determine the f stop and shutter speed which is brilliant idea. Spot metering is also possible. Easy simple perfect application. Good job !
Banging
Such an amazing app to help me to begin judging what sort of apperature and shutter speed I would need when I first started with film photography. Now after about a month of using I can make a pretty good estimation on my own due to constant use of the app

Appreciate this app. I’m learning sunny 16 rules but sometimes it’s hard to tell the brightness. And this app is perfect for the validation.
