LightSweep is a private photo cleaner for iPhone. It helps you review duplicate photos, similar shots, screenshots, screen recordings, Live Photos, and large videos before removing anything from your library. Analysis runs on your device, and every deletion stays under your control. FIND THE BEST PLACE TO START • Review screenshots, screen recordings, bursts, Live Photos, and large video candidates. • See exact duplicate groups that have passed strong verification. • Get results progressively instead of waiting for the entire library to finish. COMPARE SIMILAR MOMENTS SAFELY Similar photos are grouped by moment so you can compare them side by side. LightSweep never preselects a similar photo for removal. Keep it, review it, protect it from future suggestions, or decide later. TACKLE LARGE VIDEOS Find videos worth reviewing, see clearly labeled exact or estimated sizes, preview them, and choose a verified compression option when available. Compression creates a new copy first; the original remains unchanged unless you explicitly choose to review it for deletion. CLEAN IN SMALL SESSIONS Monthly Sweep turns a huge library into manageable batches. Swipe right to keep, left to review, or up to decide later. Your progress is saved so you can return when you have time. REVIEW BEFORE ANYTHING CHANGES Every removal goes through the Review Basket, Final Review, and the iOS system confirmation dialog. Deleted items move to Recently Deleted in Photos, where they may remain recoverable for up to about 30 days. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Photo analysis runs on your device. • LightSweep does not upload your photos or visual fingerprints. • No account, ads, tracking, subscriptions, paywall, or feature quotas in version 1.0. • Full Library and Selected Photos access are both supported. HONEST ABOUT STORAGE LightSweep distinguishes known exact sizes from estimates and does not count unknown items as zero. Initial analysis does not download iCloud-only originals. Storage may not be released immediately because deleted items remain in Recently Deleted until Photos removes them permanently.
