# Liminal v2.3.0 — Release Notes The Payments tab is rebuilt, Nim answers with real cards and tables instead of paragraphs, getting verified no longer dead-ends, and a long run of freezes is gone. ## What's New - The Payments tab is rebuilt into three titled groups, so sending, requesting and moving money to a bank are all easier to find. - Ask Nim about your portfolio, your holdings or a stock and you get a proper card back: live prices, charts, real company logos and tables you can read across, drawn straight into the chat. - Your first conversation with Nim is a proper introduction rather than a cold start. - Getting verified now tells you what you need before you start, so you are not asked for a selfie or a proof of address halfway through with no warning. - More tokenised stocks to invest in, and each one now carries its own market hours, so the open or closed badge reflects that stock's venue rather than the market in general. - Trades now carry a 0.1% Liminal fee, charged in USDC on both buys and sells. We also halved the pool fee on our tokenized equities to 0.05%. - Referral codes are emoji now. Share a short run of emoji instead of a code, and if a friend invited you by email you are linked up automatically when you finish setting up. - Biometric unlock can be turned on and off from your profile, and app lock now asks on a Liminal screen that says what it does, instead of a bare system passcode prompt. - Form labels now sit inside the box and float up as you type, so a long label is never cut off. - Turning off a type of notification now actually stops those notifications, rather than only hiding them. ## Bug Fixes - On some phones, taps in Nim stopped registering entirely and stayed broken through a reinstall. A hidden layer left over from a closed panel was swallowing them. It is gone. - Opening an older Nim conversation started you mid-thread and would not scroll until you tapped the message box. It now opens on the newest message. - Some actions could fail with no message at all. They now tell you what went wrong. - You can now enter your name with accents, or in Greek, Cyrillic or any other script. The name box previously only accepted plain English letters. - Fixed a stock position you could not close, and proceeds that were shown higher than what you would actually receive. - Nim asked the wrong exchange whether a market was open, so a tradable stock could look closed. Each stock is now checked against its own venue, and a closed market no longer claims a reopen time it does not have. - Your savings rate could show as 0%. It now shows the real rate. - Nim charts no longer get clipped by the edge of their card, chat scrolls more smoothly while a reply is streaming, and portfolio returns are rounded to two decimal places. - The deposit flow now asks you to accept terms before you start, not part way through, and linking a bank returns you to where you started instead of stacking another screen on top. - Dismissing an error while withdrawing or requesting money returns you to the amount you typed, not to the beginning. - Adding or removing someone from a split tab silently works better, and a settled tab can now be closed by any active member. - Announcements could be closed before you ever saw them, and never came back. ## Coming Soon - Pix and Brazilian real. Pay and get paid by Pix, scan any Pix QR, and hold BRL alongside your other balances. - LIL rewards. Earn LIL as you use Liminal and redeem it for rewards. - Nim on WhatsApp. Ask Nim to move money, check your portfolio and pay requests without leaving your chats. - Contacts. Send to the people in your phone book without asking for their details.
