What's New in Limit Launcher
1.31
April 1, 2023
This update is a complete rebuild of Limit Launcher. We have added many new features and improved on every previous function as well. Here are the new features for the parent app: - Parents can group all the devices of a child and manage them as one. - Set timers for gaming times to automatically begin and stop. - Choose what kind of content to block: Gaming, social media and video content - Contents such as pornography, gambling and drug related websites are blocked by default We have also developed new screen time functions - Mandatory breaktime: This feature forces a child to take a break from its devices. A parent can set the length of the break and after how much screen time a child must take a break. This break is synchronised across all of the devices registered under the child's profile. - Cumulative screen time: Parents can set how much screen time a child is allowed in a day. Limit Launcher will add up the combined screentime of all the child's devices, to stop the screen time on all of the devices simultaneously. - No screen time periods: Parents can set periods in which non of the child's devices will allow screen time. Parents can also set devices to be school devices. School devices will not get the screen time limitations like all other devices, but they can block gaming, video and social media content, based on parents preferences, to ensure that the school device is primarily used as an educational device only. Starting from this version, there are screentime functions that parents can manage their children's iPhones or iPads with.
