Not a helpful app. You don’t even upload pictures and need to know artists name
It was horrible. It just got worse.
I can hardly read the application as it is. I don’t get enough from the monitoring. I wish this company would just do their job.

Die App ist zum Einen betreffend der Künstlerviten nicht aktuell (der Vergleich auf Artfacts zeigt extreme Unterscheide, die auf Limna nicht erscheinen).
Zum Anderen sind die Preise fern ab der Realität! Viel, viel zu niedrig.
Für mich zeigt die App somit weder Transparenz, Seriösität noch Aktualität.

Incomplete and imprecise
The information conveyed is not updated, it’s very incomplete and imprecise, with many shows missing for each artist and wrong quotations. This app is irresponsible in face of artists, galleries and collectors

Sehr interessante App, aber …
Wie aktuell sind die ausgegebenen Daten? Woher kommen sie? Auf welcher Basis werden Preisangaben gemacht? Wie kann es sein, dass nur ein Teil der Künstler mit einer Abbildung eines Werks präsentiert wird? Ich wünsche mir mehr Transparenz.

A nice sight with quick references to artists. Some data is out of date or not as current as it should be and some important data on artists is missed or over shadowed by less important listings for the artist.

Not complete enough for me. I have several pieces by a prolific artist. He has an online gallery, auction history even has a book but he’s not in the data base.
I would love an app that could identify signatures. I have a few pieces with illegible signatures.

Cool idea poorly executed so far
This app really needs to add relevant artists. Nick Thomm is hanging in most celebrities and contemporary art investors homes but isn’t anywhere to be found here… I suspect the 800k claimed artists is not from prestigious galleries and auction houses. They just don’t have data on artists their target audience will care about.

Awfully inaccurate.
I was expecting a lot from this app and thought “Wow finally” Oh was I disappointed! I entered several very current rising contemporary art stars who have had record breaking sales at auction recently and sellout shows and who I also have in my collection so know the rough value of the pieces in question. The estimates were so far off it was frankly embarrassing! I gave it a few months to see if anything changed and sadly no. Still the inaccurate info and pricing. Uninstalled. 🤦🏻♂️

Completely outdated unreliable information about artists especially emerging and mid career. Many artists look like they are nobody here and sell for nothing whereas in the REAL world they sell out and for 4+ times the amount they state in this UNRELIABLE app! Shows records, artfair presence…all false or very outdated info! Collectors should stay away from this app and just google the artists they are interested in!

Ich sammele seit über einer Dekade im sechsstelligen Bereich. Oft frage ich mich, was denn entscheidende Faktoren in der Marktbewertung eines Künstlers sind. Limna bietet mit dem Künstler Profil ein äußerst hilfreiches, smartes Tool. Ist der Künstler international präsent, ist er lang genug aktiv oder fehlt ihm noch ein Werk in der Museumssammlung für eine bessere Entwicklung? Die App liefert in Sekunden Bruchteilen hervorragende Antworten. Und selbst wenn für eine genaue Bewertung noch einige Infos korrigiert werden müssen, ist man gerade bei den dem Sammler unbekannten Künstlern sehr schnell orientiert. Selbst die Preisinformationen junger Künstlet sind einigermaßen akkurat. Und leider stellt man auch schon mal fest dass die Marktpreise einst gehypter Künstler entgegen Galleristenbeschwörungen längst im Keller sind. Nur zu Skulpturen, Performance & Co schweigt die App.
