Linktap brilliant device
I have lots of smart home devices and home assistant. One of my favourite smart devices is Linktap and the app is very good. Great purchase for the garden. You can add a cost for water used and it makes you realise you need to be judicious with water usage due to cost. Linktap does this for you
Fantastic app
While the user interface isn’t super intuitive, the functionality of this app is fantastic and along with the Smart water timer does everything I need!

LinkTap app and the Q1 provide outstanding control, flexibility, and reliability to irrigation control. Easy to program, easy to set up. Recommended to friends. I cannot fault this brilliant system.

UI needs a complete re-write
Great hardware but the watering plan setup drives me nuts. This should be so simple. It is not in its’ current incarnation. How about at least some pre-defined templates to edit. Try harder.

Don’t be put off by the reviews
Hey there! I recently bought some fancy hardware, but before I installed it, I read the reviews and was a bit worried I might have made a big mistake. But guess what? I was totally wrong!
This app is absolutely brilliant! It’s got a high level of customisation, which means it can be a bit complex at times. Honestly, I think people these days are used to being spoon-fed interfaces, and they’re a bit disconnected from being able to read data sets without all those shiny buttons and fireworks. If you just want a simple on/off switch, you can get a cheap timer. But if you’re keen to get a precise amount of water in tagged zones using exactly what you need, along with weather data, then this app and the product are just what you need!
I love the real-time water flow and the reports of recent usage. It’s also really helpful to know when you’ve lost connection. And there are plenty of safeguards you can put in place so you don’t accidentally turn on the tap while you’re away. Overall, I’m really impressed with this app and the product.

Such a good app!
It's clunky but also super fast with zero animation and very powerful. For example you can do hierarchical linkage!
I would add two things: thumbnail per valve and drag and drop weekly calendar.

The idea is good but the app / software side is next to useless
Good hardware, poor app design
The hardware is great and best I have used across several brands. But the app design is so poor, probably by the same engineer who built the device and don’t know UI/UX. Please invest to revamp the app to make this a great package.

Nobody buys LinkTap for the app, it’s because they have no rivals from the hardware side. Nobody company comes close.
I assume that’s why the app has been designed and styled so poorly and cheaply. Because they didn’t need to invest in it.

Hire new software developers
Great hardware, terrible mobile app. Switched to competitor products because of how bad the mobile app is. Fix the design and the bugs!!!
Excellent System
I have had the system for 4 months. The app is very well designed and has a great feature set. This is an example of good design and excellent execution.

3. wenn bspw. 5min das Ventil geöffnet war, ist auch der Wasserverbrauch für diese Zeit nicht mehr sichtbar.
4. manuelle sollte ggf. In der Zeit auch frei wählbar sein
Ansonsten sehr solide und nichts zu beanstanden.
Es gab bis jetzt keine Probleme.

Fantastic!
I have this hooked up to a garden watering system. This is the second year I’ve used it. It always works and I love the options for scheduling in the app. They seem to get beat up on their app, but it works great for me.
Overall, a great product!
I can see how some people say the UI is a little tricky to figure out. But it’s doable, and has tons of features, and works flawlessly!

Das System als solches überzeugt. Allerdings ist die App aus dem letzten Jahrhundert. Die GUI müsste unbedingt aufgeräumt werden.
Aber was momentan echt nervt, 9/10 Anmeldeversuche schlagen fehl. Die App friert ein und ich muss sie abschiessen.

Complète mais compliquée.
Cette app offre beaucoup de fonctionnalités et semble assez fiable. Par contre l’interface utilisateur est catastrophique, il faut un manuel pour la déchiffrer. Une refonte totale est nécessaire pour rendre cela plus intuitif et agréable à utiliser.
