Outstanding App!

It’s fantastic how simple but also informative the app is. One thing I would recommend, especially for those who have not taken Greek or Hebrew, is a speaker or translator to help pronounce the words.

Great Bible study app

This Bible with Lexicon is so helpful for seeing what the Greek and Hebrew words are that were translated into English. The Word of the Lord is alive and sharper than a double edged sword.

Truly Excellent

You won’t be disappointed with this app.

Absolutely wonderful app !!

I have been using this app for several years and absolutely love it.
I love the Lexon definitions and especially being able to see all of the word’s occurrences and usages in the Bible.
Plus the option of looking at other translations and how the words are translated there.

Absolutely love the option to add notes, which I use to add additional cross-references to specific words in the text.

Another five star feature with this app is that when you copy and paste a passage, the app doesn’t clutter up the text with verse numbers in brackets like other apps do.
Highlighting is a fun option as well.

Thank you Lockman Foundation for your love for the Word and your pursuit of biblical clarity!!

Beautiful but no multi language

I love the app but I want to be in Spanish :(

Outstanding, Simple, Intuitive, Fun

The only Bible app I use. No spam, no pop ups, no commentary.

My go to Bible Study tool

I used to use a strong concordance. I switched to the blue letter Bible. But now the Literal Word Bible app has become my go to Bible Study tool. It’s so easy to use. They even added my favorite translation, the NKJV. I recommend it to every serious Bible student.

One of the best Bible Apps

Almost perfect. Would really love this app to get audio for the translations. Great for daily use.

The best Bible app

This is hands down the best Bible app. No ads, no clutter, just the Word of God.

Favorite Bible App

I have been using Literal Word for around 5 years on a daily basis. It’s far and away the best Bible app available in my opinion. It has my go-to translations (NKJV, LSB, NASB 95, ESV), and offers a quick, convenient, and yet comprehensive search of Greek and Hebrew words, while also offering the ability to turn the app into a “reader” without verse numbers, headings, etc.

So, for times of reading or more in-depth study, this app is a one-stop-shop for me.

Excellent bible app

One of the best Bible apps

No paywalls and bonus benefit offline access

Love this app. Works perfectly with Uversion.

NKJV Added, It Keeps Getting Better!

By far the best Bible app. Super simple yet incredibly powerful. NKJV is known for having some great footnotes so its addition to the app is most welcome. I thought that NKJV would never be added since it doesn’t hold as tightly to a word-for-word translation philosophy but I’m glad it was. My one feature request would be to give a little bit more customization to the styles. Don’t get me wrong, I love the options that are available but I would love if I were able to customize the dark theme to have pure black background. Thank you to the developers, it’s clear God has filled you with His Spirit, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship!

Master Class

This app is a master class in how a Bible app should be done. Wonderful stuff.

Thank you for NKJV

Thank you for adding NKJV

Excellent

The best bible app

Slight issue

Absolutely amazing Bible app. Have been using it since 2018. Slight issue recently where the last line of a paragraph is also justified, and the words get stretched. Thank you!

Nice NASB app but Please change the dictionary and add strongs reference numbers

But it would be helpful to be able to change dictionaries for the definitions of Greek and Hebrew. Like Isaiah 6:2 the word “seraphim” and in Isaiah 14:29 “flying serpent” is the same word H8314. The dictionary separates these two words and has no connection to them even though they are the same Hebrew word.

Perfect Balance

It is a delight to find a Bible app that is so thoughtfully simplistic. Congratulations to the UX designer and to the developers for such a beautiful experience. The Bible and a good lexicon are about all we need.
Thank you so much, like water for the thirsty. “As much as you have done it for the least of these…” See you on the other side.

Study the etymological foundational meaning

Richard Tidwell suggested it, & I concur. It’s the best. Has every feature for digging deeper into Gods word, & it’s literal meaning. Synonyms are something I appreciated growing up because they helped me convey a feeling or message better, & with diving into the meaning of the words as they were meant when written because of the language used has felt like I’ve discovered a deeper wisdom & deeper conveyance of Gods word.
