This app is a disaster
90% of my 1 star review is about this app, they could’ve just sent an email to confirm what books coming next, but they asked you to download an app that basically does nothing. You can’t select books, change books even you know your kids won’t like them, you cannot pause nor cancel subscriptions in the app. You will have to go to website and chat with a customer service to do that. I paid $120 membership a year just to find out that they send all the unpopular books that my kids don’t like. Such a waste of money and resources. 80% of people don’t like subscriptions because it’s so hard to cancel, pause or reschedule. This company seems don’t know it or doesn’t care.

Needs revision
The app is great for book shuffle and selecting which books we're keeping and check out, super user friendly and streamlined... for one child. I have two separate kid subscriptions (very different ages and interests), and I am unable to swap between the two subscriptions within the app. I can open settings and edit the basic profile of either child, but not jump into book shuffle or the check out page for either child. It will default to whichever child I was on from my email or the webpage and linked into the app from there. So to get to my second subscription I have to close out of the app and go back to my email and find one sent for the other subscription and go from there.

I started this program with my daughter who is now 3! And we have a son now as well we use it for! We love the variety of books they send, the educational books they send that I probably would otherwise never stumble upon and the unique literati books too!

First off I want to say, I’ve read through the reviews and people saying they just charge for shipping clearly did not buy any books or complete an order. It very clearly states it’s a $10 fee that then applies to the books, it doesn’t say you get it back if you don’t buy any books. I bought all the books because they are adorable (and I will get to this here in a second) and I was ONLY charged for the books and sales tax. NOT shipping.
I only care to address this because we enjoy it so much I don’t want it to scare off people from getting to enjoy it too. I am more than impressed!! Each book was totally unique and perfect to his age. I spent $59 in total for the 5 books which is basically the same as I would on Amazon, without the effort of shopping. And I thought the choices were even better than what I’ve found myself!! (If you don’t want to pay $5-$15 a book this is probably not for you.)
And it came with designed stickers with his name on it “this book belongs to (baby’s name)”. So cute!!!
You just have to pick at least $10 worth of stuff each month it make it worth it.
