Rubbish
Wished I hadn’t spent 1000s on 8 speakers. It’s so unstable. Very clunky. If you want a life of getting up on a step every couple of months to ‘find’ the speakers and get them in a group, well great! Bluetoothing to a smart tv which only accepts 2 pairs and not the 3 pairs intended is disappointing. The audio delay is poor and echoing across the 2 pairs. Do not get if you want an immersive sound. We have a very large room and hoped to be able to
hear the TV at both ends. What we didn’t want were amps and soundbars beneath our media wall. I imagine hardwiring them is much more stable. Our electricians have to keep coming back and renaming the speakers from a confusing set of serial numbers. I am pretty sure they won’t be recommending these speakers again. I am in my 70s and frankly I don’t need this constant activity. Don’t get me started on the app! Hugely disappointing. Oh how I wished I had read the reviews.

PoE Speakers are a great concept and Lithe has ticked most of the boxes.
I do like the Pro ceiling speakers. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I have several IP44 sets installed in our bathrooms. The sound is great and the integration with apple, google and Alexa is pretty much seamless. Volume control could be better, but this may not be lithe’s fault but limitations on the formers API’s. The install and setup is easy, however, the app could be a little more polished. The speakers need a better internal web interface if the app is not available and this was a little half baked. If I could change anything, I would have made the bolt on PoE hat have a pass thru Ethernet output to the pro speaker. Otherwise for PoE speaker power and an Ethernet connection to the speaker you need two Ethernet cables which is just plain silly. I used a third party PoE splitter that provided the 24V@2.5A and the solution worked a treat with one PoE Ethernet cable. This solution was less than half the price of the lithe offering and only required one cable to the speaker for power and Ethernet. I will be buying more. A little more work on the app and a rethink of the PoE hat will make it an even better product. Well done lithe.
Edit: I understand that a new single cable PoE hat will be available in 2026. Well done Lithe. Companies that innovate due to feedback from their customers deserve to be supported. I will definitely be buying more Lithe Speakers!

Do not buy these speakers
These speakers never stay connected to Wifi. I’m 65 years old and to reset these speakers to reconnect them to Wifi, I have to go up a ladder 3metres, remove the cover, press the reset button for 10 seconds, try and connect it to Airplay and then do this at least 3 times before it works. I’m sick and tired of this. I want my money back!

App not fit for purpose
The speakers are great when you eventually get them working, the app however is utter rubbish!! For the money paid for the speakers, I would expect the app to at least be functional. Please sort it out, you’re selling a premium product!!
Can’t find speakers
After the last update I’m constantly resetting speakers (every week).. and the app doesn’t even find them anymore. Please fix.
