Nice while it lasted
Worked fine for years, but stopped charging a few weeks ago and now there are so many choices out there with more features I have no reason to pursue fixing it.
It works, but could be better
I recently tried the app out with my Litra Studios. During one of the firmware updates, something went wrong. Litra support for back to me a day later with instructions that thankfully fixed things. Once I had the lights all up and running, I was surprised to find that when changing between lights, the app didn’t seem to remember which mode was used. So if I was using HSI, for instance, I had to hit the HSI button again every time I switched lights. Ideally I’d have some basic control over multiple lights all on the same page. The lights themselves are pretty impressive, but I would say the app has a ways to go before it’s on par with the hardware.

Bluetooth fail
Controlling lights by an app is great in theory. Unfortunately the reality of this app is far different. The Bluetooth connection to lights is buggy with numerous drops and inconsistent light control capability. I wanted so much for this to work as it would make work flows so easy. Instead it is back to all manual control in order to keep the setup reliable and stable.

Bluetooth with litra studio is a mess, no work good and battery last very poor
Been using this equipment and the app not work good, delay and the range of connection is so poor
I’m glad I started using the app!
When I originally bought the light, I operated it with the buttons only. My impression of the light was that it was excellent but.... the battery life was unpredictable. One day I had some time to kill, so I downloaded the app out of curiosity and to see if there was an update to the light’s software. With the app I was able to see through visualization the light settings, and I learned more about cycling the strobe and —most importantly— blackout mode. Blackout mode is how you make the battery last a very long time. I’m impressed. Good job on the app, Litra!
