camera capture is terrible. one capture it safe all is safe. the second it flags 3 ingredients.

So easy and very helpful

Started using this during my first pregnancy with all the skin care and food I put in my body I was able to eliminate products that is not safe for me and my baby. Not I’m using it as I decided what is safe to use for my son and me as well.

Must need app while pregnant!

I’ve used this app since 2023 and I am always so pleased every time I use it. I’m a skincare lover, but it so hard to know what’s safe, this takes the guess work out of it and breaks it down in a simple to understand way.

takes one headache out of pregnancy!

I looove love love this app. As a mom who is very mindful of toxic products and safety, especially around my babies, this has added another level of peace of mind for me! It’s very user friendly with the ability to either scan a barcode or copy/paste an ingredient list, if you’re shopping for products and want to verify their safety first. Would absolutely recommend for first, second, third etc. time moms-to-be to make your pregnancy a little bit safer and easier!

For someone who is worried about pregnancy safe skincare and makeup, this app actually changed my life for the better. So grateful that this app is taking off so much anxiety for me!

Missing ingredients

I just downloaded and looked at a few of the products I own. The app didn’t have any information on most of the ingredients. These are common brands and products so I’m pretty dissapointed

This app has been so helpful

This app helped me to realize majority of my pre-pregnancy skincare was unsuitable during pregnancy! I have been able to find pregnancy safe swaps with ease through the app and I am so happy this app exists!

Great App not just for pregnant Women!

As the husband to my pregnant wife, I use the app when I’m buying products for the family, I have found it greatly useful and surprisingly informative. I now use the app myself when I am shopping for my mens products as I don’t want harmful ingredients either!

Bugs

The app is good but there are many bugs. When I upload de image, the app don’t take all ingredients than when I take a picture. There is a bus with the Dimethicone ingredient, when the ingredient found is Methicone the app take everything before it to form the word Dimethicone.

Thank you for pointing this out to us! In order to pick up all the potentially harmful ingredients there is a need for a certain allowance of error when taking a picture of the ingredient list. We have now added Methicone as a stop word for Dimethicone so this will no longer happen. We purposefully highlight the ingredients so you can see on the label where this is found. As technology improves we aim to make the app as bug free as possible and truly appreciate this type of user feedback!

Good, but..

I wish the app allowed us to see up to 5-10 of the past searches we’ve made. I was going thru a list of skincare that I needed to look up, and I was losing track of what I had just searched. Also, I do think a scan barcode function would be super helpful to have in a future version of the app!

Honestly a wast of money

I wish this scanned barcodes (which I thought it did until I purchased and opened it) so I could be confident that it was picking up the ingredients list accurately. The only good thing is that is has a list of high risk, medium risk, and low risk ingredients that you can search through but it doesn’t seem to be a very long list so I’m still left guessing on some things. Don’t waste your money!

The app doesn’t flag aluminium which is high risk for pregnancy.

We include ingredients such as Aluminum Chloride, Aluminum Chlorohydrate, and Aluminum Zirconium because there is sufficient evidence indicating potential risk or harm, particularly in sensitive populations like pregnant women. However, not all aluminum salts are created equal—different forms have different properties, uses, and risk levels, and the available research does not support flagging all aluminum compounds as equally hazardous. We continually evaluate and update our database based on the latest scientific evidence to ensure we provide accurate and up-to-date safety information. If new research emerges, we will update our ingredient warnings accordingly.
