Recent experience has been disappointing
I’ve been a loyal Littlewoods customer, but sadly things have gone downhill. Delivery has become a nightmare since they switched to Royal Mail. Even when I specify where to leave parcels, it’s routinely ignored—leading to items being left outside and, worse, going missing. Not even the Ring doorbell helps, as deliveries are often done carelessly or off-camera. It’s gotten so bad, broken furniture destined for the tip has vanished before I could load it up!
To make matters worse, customer service feels deliberately inaccessible. The hours for phone support have been trimmed down to a frustrating window, especially on weekends, and there’s no option to email or even use chat. It’s like they don’t want to be contacted when something goes wrong.
I hope Littlewoods rethinks both their delivery partnerships and how they support their customers. The current setup makes it hard to stay loyal.

Excellent Online Shopping!
I have had a Littlewoods catalogue for about 20 years and I absolutely love it! The range of products, choice of designer, mid or basic price range, and delivered free to your door in a couple of days; it’s been a godsend since the high street is no longer full of choice, and is so convenient.
The only downsides I would say, are the loss of commission for account holders which was always a godsend for bigger purchases and Christmas, and the loss of the 52 week interest free credit for purchases over £50, whereas now we pay huge interest on BNPL purchases and that’s not great.
It would be nice to see some promo codes for people like me who use the online shop religiously; giving good customers something back helps to keep them!
In short though, the app is fab, it’s so easy to navigate, and I love the amount of choice we have from well known brands, many of which we can no longer find in the high street.

A Families Big help
As a young family Littlewoods were always there for us - many birthdays and Christmases were only made possible by being able to pay over the whole year. When building a family you didn’t always have the finances for the occasional disaster ( washing machine, fridge, etc), Littlewoods was always our safety-net for when times were hard and we have been loyal customers for almost 40 years. Now the kids have grown up and are away and we can now afford some luxuries and no longer need the safety net but still buy with Littlewoods when something takes our fancy. Thank you Littlewoods.

Good but could be better
I’ve been with Littlewoods for a very long time, and have always been happy with their service. However, there is one niggle which I have raised with them but they have no intention of changing, and that is the billing system. Instead of sending out a bill on a particular date of the month, it’s sent out every 28 days which means for half the year I receive it post pay day and the other half it can arrive before. This means if you don’t have the funds at the time payment is due they will charge £12 for late payment. I don’t agree with this system as it can be seen as a money making exercise. I raised it with Littlewoods some time ago, as it became obvious during lockdown with bills still to pay and no money coming in. Otherwise this would have been 5 stars.

Pay date
I have been a customer for many years now and find this app very handy, the only let down I find is the pay dates not being the same every month for example, I get paid monthly so would like to pay on time every month but with each month passing the app lowers the pay date from say the 28th one month the 25th the next then 22nd and so on then this causes pay fails as I get paid end of month now charging £12 each time !!! It looks to be very thought out for the people on low incomes to fail this and have to pay the extra.
Also the dates would work out that eventually you’d end up paying two bills in one month !
Worth keeping an eye out on payments
