Recent experience has been disappointing

I’ve been a loyal Littlewoods customer, but sadly things have gone downhill. Delivery has become a nightmare since they switched to Royal Mail. Even when I specify where to leave parcels, it’s routinely ignored—leading to items being left outside and, worse, going missing. Not even the Ring doorbell helps, as deliveries are often done carelessly or off-camera. It’s gotten so bad, broken furniture destined for the tip has vanished before I could load it up!

To make matters worse, customer service feels deliberately inaccessible. The hours for phone support have been trimmed down to a frustrating window, especially on weekends, and there’s no option to email or even use chat. It’s like they don’t want to be contacted when something goes wrong.

I hope Littlewoods rethinks both their delivery partnerships and how they support their customers. The current setup makes it hard to stay loyal.

Excellent Online Shopping!

I have had a Littlewoods catalogue for about 20 years and I absolutely love it! The range of products, choice of designer, mid or basic price range, and delivered free to your door in a couple of days; it’s been a godsend since the high street is no longer full of choice, and is so convenient.
The only downsides I would say, are the loss of commission for account holders which was always a godsend for bigger purchases and Christmas, and the loss of the 52 week interest free credit for purchases over £50, whereas now we pay huge interest on BNPL purchases and that’s not great.
It would be nice to see some promo codes for people like me who use the online shop religiously; giving good customers something back helps to keep them!
In short though, the app is fab, it’s so easy to navigate, and I love the amount of choice we have from well known brands, many of which we can no longer find in the high street.

A Families Big help

As a young family Littlewoods were always there for us - many birthdays and Christmases were only made possible by being able to pay over the whole year. When building a family you didn’t always have the finances for the occasional disaster ( washing machine, fridge, etc), Littlewoods was always our safety-net for when times were hard and we have been loyal customers for almost 40 years. Now the kids have grown up and are away and we can now afford some luxuries and no longer need the safety net but still buy with Littlewoods when something takes our fancy. Thank you Littlewoods.

Good but could be better

I’ve been with Littlewoods for a very long time, and have always been happy with their service. However, there is one niggle which I have raised with them but they have no intention of changing, and that is the billing system. Instead of sending out a bill on a particular date of the month, it’s sent out every 28 days which means for half the year I receive it post pay day and the other half it can arrive before. This means if you don’t have the funds at the time payment is due they will charge £12 for late payment. I don’t agree with this system as it can be seen as a money making exercise. I raised it with Littlewoods some time ago, as it became obvious during lockdown with bills still to pay and no money coming in. Otherwise this would have been 5 stars.

Pay date

I have been a customer for many years now and find this app very handy, the only let down I find is the pay dates not being the same every month for example, I get paid monthly so would like to pay on time every month but with each month passing the app lowers the pay date from say the 28th one month the 25th the next then 22nd and so on then this causes pay fails as I get paid end of month now charging £12 each time !!! It looks to be very thought out for the people on low incomes to fail this and have to pay the extra.
Also the dates would work out that eventually you’d end up paying two bills in one month !

Worth keeping an eye out on payments

Please don’t use buy now pay later.

Please don’t use buy now pay later.
Littlewoods have made my anxiety go through the roof I am a week late with making a buy now payment later payment due to now receiving a reminder to say my payment is due a heads up would of been nice. I am always always on time with my payments but this one time they aren’t willing to help I am a single mum to a 5 year old I suffer from anxiety and the person had said on the phone they could do it in good will - but they are choosing not to. I purchased a hoover through buy now pay later and now the interest has charged me double and the hoover now equals over £900 I cannot afford this I don’t know what I’m suppose to do now. Im willing to pay the orginal amount I have the money for that but cannot afford to pay over 900 pounds but littlewoods are choosing not to help me

The app and the company has its flaws

The APP.
They make it next to impossible to get in touch with any support. There is only 4 options in the “account queries” tab and none of them are what you’d need. At least I don’t. Your constantly being thrown to the phone number - which for someone who has very bad social anxiety, isn’t an option. They claim to offer a relay service but they send you to the ofcom site to read on it yourself, your not told or given any assistance on how to set it up to speak to someone.

The company.
I’ve been a customer for years, my bills have always been paid on time, I’ve even paid bills early and even went as far as paying more than I should. As a reward for my loyalty to this company - Littlewoods decide to reduce my credit by half without warning, no email, no letter, nothing. And coincidently they done it just before Christmas too. As a customer I find this very disrespectful, especially considering I’ve never given them any problems whatsoever. I’m sure no doubt they’ll have some clever marketing rubbish they’ll have to hide behind that to them justifies their actions - in reality they don’t. It’s pretty clear you get no thanks or even respect for being a good customer anymore, your simply a number to them that they can take advantage of and use to their own amusement as long as we keep filling their bank account.
As a recommendation I’d advise anyone to avoid this company from now on until they learn what customer respect is, and don’t use VERY either (they are the same company)

Easy

I have been with littlewoods for 10yrs now and I’ve never had a problem or missed a payment, only the first ever one as i didn’t understand when the first one went out, i called customer service and explained the situation and they took the £15 charge off my account, they were very helpful with me, since then it’s been a breeze, knowing what date every month the payment goes out helps so much, the app is so easy to use and has everything there to help/guide you, I’ve bought multiple items over the years, mostly huge items, never had an issue with delivery or damaged goods, the BNPL is very reliable I’ve only used that once, otherwise it’s the monthly payments, I won’t go to any other company for my shopping, it would be nice if littlewoods would send an email to show their appreciation from time to time for all the items I’ve bought and give out discounts to valuable customers so they keep us happy and buy more, but they don’t which is a shame but never mind, but f you stay within your price range every month you can’t go wrong, happy shopping 😁

No Offer No Discount

I’ve held my Littlewoods Catalogue account for a number of years now and being very proud to say that I always paid on time on the Offer Buy Now Pay Later option and always made extra payments over and above the minimum payment so that I wouldn’t fall behind on the overall amount on my account.
I love my Littlewoods Catalogue account as I can buy what I want or I need to keep up with the modern market I like to have the latest gadgets lol But I don’t know why that Littlewoods change and move the goalposts when it comes your ordering habits as if you don’t or make an Order for some time they remove the Buy Now Pay Later Opinion which I don’t think is very fair.
Anyway I still love my Littlewoods account but just not happy about them removing the Buy Now Pay Later Option just because I didn’t or make an order on my account.
It’s like as long you’re making order then you’ll be able to use the Buy Now Pay Later

Losing it a bit - Sadly…

I’ve been with Littlewoods for more than 30 years.
I find the homeware choices has gone down.
I’ve kitted my whole house out at some point over the years - but there’s not the same quantity or for some of the so-called big name collections nowadays not many realistic prices.
When you see something you like in clothing or footwear and all the sizes are gone then why leave the item on the site to look at/browse when it’s not available?
I have spent thousands over the years but they suddenly decided to drop my spending limit - with no warning and no good reason except to say it can stop folk getting into trouble but I’ve actually paid up early on everything I’ve ever had.
I don’t send for multiple items of the same thing in different sizes or colours. I try and do my homework / read the reviews and get my order right first time so’s not to abuse that system.
I never save my card details on anything so setting up with PayPal etc. would help for quick payment instead of tapping in details every time.
Also as mentioned by someone else. If I try to buy from Very - Very won’t let me because I have a Littlewoods account - even if I don’t want to spread the payments.
My daughter had her account closed because as she was working away she hadn’t ordered enough. Really! At the end of the day it’s a business so caring about long term good customers isn’t that important as we obviously keep using it. But it’s getting more frustrating every time.
Won’t stop me browsing or buying though - for the foreseeable…
It’s convenient, quick and easy.

Fantastic customer service

I have shopped with littlewoods for many years and have always been satisfied with the service. Few issues where I have had to ring customers services have been resolved quickly and efficiently with good manners. I have recommended littlewoods to many many people over the years due to the items they have available , so much choice , there is always something for everyone . Having time to pay for something that’s needed quickly is amazing. Any problems will
Be resolved. As for some comments about returned items in one package not being fully refunded immediately then I suggest returning each item individually then there won’t be any issues. Highly recommend shopping with littlewoods.

A bit of a mixed review

I have been a customer for maybe 5 years now and have always paid my bills on time up until last year when I came into some financial difficulty. LW cust serv were very helpful and supportive with getting me back on track with my debt with them. The app is great, easy to navigate and straightforward.
What I am most unhappy with is that I have recently returned multiple items in one package and they have only credited one item and I have had to call customer services to sort it out, the first time was a nightmare! And it has recently happened again. The other thing is I recently ordered 2 pairs of AirPods and they only sent one but on my account they claimed 2 were delivered. Someone with the one job obviously has a problem with counting on both these issues. Luckily they quickly credited my account and ordered me another pair. I was prepared to send the envelope to them which would have showed that only one box of AirPods could fit in it after they said they were in one package.
I also do not like that they do not have a ‘damaged item’ option when returning items, the nearest option is poor quality which is open to interpretation. Please change this and also make it easier and clearer on breakdowns on the statements. Pls sort out your returns issue with only crediting one item.

Honest feedback

I have been using Littlewoods for 2 months after leaving my 3 year old Next account as I was not happy with their service, having spent thousands over the years I did not feel valued as a customer.
Anyway, Littlewoods so far is going well, lots of good communication and the product range is superb.
I find them a little overpriced but the same could be said for a lot of mail order retailers. I would like to see free next day delivery on all stock and more stock as I often find items unavailable. Otherwise, quality of merch has been excellent and delivery on time, as promised.
I would definitely recommend Littlewoods to anyone looking for a convenient shopping channel its wide choice of products & brands and the app is very user friendly.

Repayment issues

I like the app - it is easy to use. I would like a section within the checkout area when purchasing something that shows any potential changes monthly minimum payment…. If that makes sense.
I know the options are there for how payment is made (52 weeks / BNPN / 20 weeks etc) but I think it would be really useful if say my current minimum payment was shown alongside new minimum payment, depending on what repayment option is chosen. I think it would be a way to help people manage finances generally. Even though we’re all supposed to remember etc etc - I just think it would be useful.

I have had the same account number since 1965 and have used your catalogue for most of my clothes and almost everything in my home has been from your catalogue. I think that says everything. I have been using your catalogue for almost 60 Year’s that must mean something. I have very rarely had to return an item but if I have had to it has been easy and without problems. I am now 83 years of age and guess I shall continue to buy from Littlewoods until I fall off my perch. Thank You Littlewoods for always being there when I need you, you are the best

Customer service shocking!

Wanted to purchase a new settee as mine has seen better days. Found one I liked, I wanted to use buy now pay later option which wasn’t available on the app… I called customer care, explained the situation, only to be told I’ve been EXCLUDED from BNPL purchases, why? because I’ve not purchased anything since February. I’ve made many purchases with BNPL but only as and when needed, i shop within my financial means, and only purchase items that I require that I can’t afford to buy outright eg washing, cooker etc.
I have paid everything I have purchased before the the time limit ends and never paid any of the interest that is added to use this service also never missed a payment.

To try and attempt to reactive the BNPL on my account I was told to buy items over the next few months (although this will in-cure a debt that isn’t needed especially in a time of the unknown surrounding covid) now this isn’t Guaranteed to work according to a manager, but I have to prove I can make payments regularly and on time, but I’m sure I’ve been doing that in the 7+ years I’ve held my account without any payment issues

Like this app

I like using the app, it’s very easy to shop, until you want to contact about a returned order! And then like most companies they try to second guess what your problem is. Perhaps if you put a return order button and how to track your return and why it takes two weeks to credit your account using Yodel .
I much preferred the sticker and take it to post office within days I’ve always been credited.
This get a barcode and print is ok if you have a printer and an understanding of technology.
Disappointed in yodel returns, but can’t fault the delivery or our delivery driver.

Easy to use App

I have been a Littlewoods customer for over 13 years now. I have found the app much more easier to browse the littlewoods catalogue than the website. The filters that you can apply make it easier to find what you are looking for - even if you don’t know what you are looking for !! 😉 impulse purchasing app!! You can view all your account information from the app - statements, balances etc. The app is a stable one, haven’t had any issues with the running of the app on my phone. One thing is missing like most companies now absolutely no customer appreciation - where is the loyalty bonuses to customers to say thank you for shopping with them ??

Really enjoying using this

I have found this app to be very easy to use. I like the colour choice, simply easy to find tabs/selections. Like the feature to see more items per page and chose which view you want to browse. I like the credit tab showing what u have and being able to see easily what you ordered. Haven't found a chat section for contact/queries and do find it's limited a bit in choice for when u want to ask a question. Would be nice to have a chat feature as quite a few don't seam happy with customer care. Personally I have no issues and hope I never do. Can't find yet how u create extra wish lists in the app? Or how u chose which wish list to save items in? That would be nice. I've only recently become a customer so still working out how to use the app. But really like it and find it very enjoyable. As a dyslexic person I find apps frustrating a lot but this one I like very much, just wish there was some way to order a real catalogue as I love to flick through a book and not be glued to my phone. Yes I'm old fashioned-I like turning real pages! Still a great job from the programmers and designers for this app. Well made. :)

Littlewoods app 👌🏽

This app is really easy to use, with multi security features. Choosing what you want is easy as the browsing function is slick and simple. Most of the time I get bored of sifting through page after page, but the filter system is really great. You can use the app to browse and add items to your bag without logging into your account and once you have finished the app will ask you to log in. How you log in you can choose to use your fingerprint or log in via the traditional method. Making your account secure even if you lost your phone.
I use this app often.
