Perfect

Such a perfect design.
I love how easy it is to find the daily readings and the alternate readings for each feast day. I especially like the option to learn about the lives of the saints on their given feast day. It has been very fruitful in my journey entering the Church!

Excellent app

Overall very happy with the app. I use it primarily with the Apple Watch. It’s a bit buggy when it comes to refreshing the feast days but haven’t found anything better. Many thanks to the developers

It’s broken

App is broken, continues trying to “download calendar” but fails and claims it’s an internet problem. Issue also happens on my IPad, definitely a problem with the app.

Thanksgiving

The Liturgy connects Catholics with each other all throughout the world. Never have I felt so connected and blessed to partake in an app (Besides Hallow and Ascension), the app is my primary means of reading the liturgy. Many apps have the liturgy however I believe this app does it best. Thank you to the people responsible for sharing; May God bless you abundantly!!!

Solid

A great resource for quick-grab reference to the daily readings and celebrations, especially as they don’t normally appear in general calendar settings.
I would love to see the app forecast the calendar- enabling you to look past December into the next calendar year.

Best liturgical app

I love this app! It gives not only the daily mass readings but also memorials of the saints! 🫶🏻

Not bad

Its a decent enough widget that does what it does, but information regarding the Saints seems limited. In the preview images on the Appstore Page, there is an image that says "read a short summary of the saints". When I go into the App, Ill tap on the Saint, and nothing happens. Ill tap on the "Book" icon on the bottom, and a context menu for the readings of the day will pop up, but again, no summary or information on the Saint.

Perhaps I am using it wrong! Otherwise, it is useful, just not in the way I had hoped!

Hi there! Thanks for the review! The biographies are not available for every feast, as accurate data sourcing is a challenge. I’m constantly working on adding new saint data. Hopefully you’ve seen some recently! They are indicated by the “i” icon on the feasts tile. Let me know if I can help out, if you’re still not seeing the info!

Things to Fix

(1) put the day of the week next to the day of the month on the home screen.
(2) put “holy day of obligations’ on your calendar, so that, when i look at the month as a whole, i know which days are holy days of obligation.

Awesome App

This app is great for staying in line with feasts and solemnities. I love the widgets as well. I hope that eventually the app will expand to the other Rites of the Catholic Church!

Broken (fixed)

The latest update broke the app. It no longer downloads the calendar. Error message. Crash

Update:

The developer contacted me—a very good sign of support—and fixed the issue quickly.

The app is basic. I wished it at least offered the Saint of the Day

Great App for Phone

This is an awesome app with lots of cool information about the Liturgical Calendar! I love the widget which lets me check the feast every morning right away! I am disappointed though that the watch complication has stopped working as of a few months ago - that was my favorite feature!

No saint Biography

It says you can see the saints Biography but I only see thee Mass readings. It would be nice if it included their Bio.

No user modification

The text size doesn’t increase making it a pain to use.

Developer: You replied to my rating asking where this occurs. Allow me to try to explain better.

The mass readings do not have an option to increase font size. They are small and difficult to read. After the recent update this remains a problem.

Edited: 1/9/24 I found the issue! No update needed! You should see that the font size for Mass Readings now is adjusted based on the setting you have in your phone's settings app. I am also working now on the ability to change the font size directly within the Liturgical app. Thank you for letting me know about this issue.
