Everything about the app experience is poor. I use a smart outlet to make sure I don’t forget to turn it off.

Horrible App
This could be so awesome if the app...worked...at...all. Was able to successfully connect once. After not using for a while was forced to reconnect again. Have tried every suggestion on the thermacell site multiple times to no avail. So disappointed I spent $1000 for this and am unable to use any of the smart features. One of the poorest apps ever.

Never works
Spent over $1000 on this system and it literally doesn’t work through the app. Waste of money. Bought the remote system so I could turn on from my phone and not physically have to walk outside across the mosquito-filled yard to start these up. Should have just bought 5 cheap $30 lanterns and saved myself $850. Do better Thermacell!!!

Love the system, hate the app
I love the Liv system, turning it on and off manually, it works great. But this app is straight garbage. Can never get it connected. Have tried multiple ways and multiple internets and wifi options and just nothing.
Horrible app
Doesn’t work. Was able to sign in but then it couldn’t connect my Liv unit to my Wi-Fi. First device to ever have issues. Now I can’t even log in to the app. Truly terrible design.
Garbage app - can’t connect to my product
I bought a thermacell repellent system last year and to this day I can’t hook the thing up because the app does not connect the product with my WiFi network. Buyer beware

Cant even get the app started
Poor reviews of the app spot on. I can not even register the app to get started. Email notification never came.
Works 1/3 of the time.
Worst app I’ve ever had. System itself if good for mosquitoes but the app is terrible. It takes forever to connect and the it may leave you signed in. You can turn the system on and off but the info on how much is left until refill won’t come up and it will ask you to connect and that’s a revolving question because it’s impossible to connect. It’s like the scratch off lotta. 1 in 1,000 chance!

Terrible support
I’ve called, left vm’s, emailed support and no response… My LIV hub connected to WiFi just fine, everything is wired correctly but none of the 5 repellers light up. The app crashes when I turn the hub on remotely but I can get it to start manually but still no lights from repellers. This system is not cheap and to have zero support with an unstable app is unacceptable.

Can not connect to WiFi
I’ve called and left messages. I can not connect to the Wi-Fi. Message always says unable to connect. Spouse had trouble connecting but after numerous tries his app did connect.
“Smart” functions crash the app
The promise of the product was to provide “smart” functionality such as scheduling and tracking cartridge depletion levels. The app crashes at every attempt to access these functions. Only thing the app is good for is remote on/off.
Notifications don't work
Notifications don't work which is a huge inconvenience since if you forget you've left the system on you can quickly deplete your $120 repellent
Terrible to set up
Love thermacell but set up process & connection process to the app is cumbersome and frustrating
Crashing
After the latest update, the app crashes when trying to access the settings. I am unable to access the scheduler which cause the system to run continuously and depletes my refills if I forget to manually turn off the system. Minor inconvenience that has caused a significant cost increase. I have actually stopped using the system while hoping that the issue will be fixed. Customer service has not provided a solution.

App Crashes
I can turn on and off my LIV system, but the app crashes every time I try and access the system settings like changing the light color or check the refill level.

Works Great
Innovative product, ever since I started using this product I don’t have to worry about leaving my door open and mosquitoes sneaking in. covers my patio area very well and the app gives me the peace of mind without having to go outside to check if my mosquito repellent is still ON.
