Helped me figure out what I was doing wrong!

The app (especially scans and ensuing tips) helped me figure out where, when, what I needed to adjust to get better rise out of my sourdough and helped me learn to recognize signs on my own.

Paywall

I hate when apps don’t advertise a subscription based service in the photos or descriptions— not to mention the paywall keeps popping up with a timer. NAH buh-bye!

Not for beginners

This was advertised as a helper for beginners, starting with the starter. All this is is a recipe database. There’s 1 starter recipe, that’s it. Not worth the money. Because of the false advertising, I contacted support through the website (there are no account options in the app to cancel or contact) and have bo heard back. I want a full refund due to the false advertising, AND it overcharged me by $13 compared to the advertised price.

Pay Wall & Annoying Pop-Up

This is the most annoying app I have ever downloaded in my entire life. Despite not being mentioned in the description, you do have to pay a subscription for all of the features, aside from recipes. Recipes are the only thing you can access free. At first, it appears like you can use it without a subscription, but everything you click on results in a pop-up, trying to force you into the sub subscription. Apparently the developer does not understand that there has to be something I love about the app for me to want to try out the upgraded features. But overall, it’s absolutely annoying. The pop-up that comes up has a little countdown, and you must look at the premium upgrade until it counts all the way down. You cannot just close it immediately. And it persistently pops up. I can get recipes on the Internet. There’s absolutely no reason to use this app. And if there’s no reason to use it, there’s definitely no reason to upgrade.

We also offer feeding calculators for free and are actively working on improving the free suite of tools. That being said, the AI-powered tools are expensive for us to run, so we’re unable to make them free. We’re hoping costs will drop as model performance improves! We hope you’ll try the app again in the future!

Amazing

I've been making sourdough for years but this app is a game changer. And so is their customer service. I was having an issue and they were prompt in fixing it and letting me know they fixed it. Now my loaves 10/10 every time

Something is broken

It won't let me ask any questions, even though I pay for the app. It tells me I have an invalid credit? It also has a weird entry for the journal. It asks for the starter ratio, but in decimal? I don't know how to fill that in and I can't ask the chat but

What happened?

I love this app and use it all the time. Unfortunately, my starter died when I was on vacation.. Now that I have a new starter going, I’m trying to use it again, it’s not able to scan pictures. I tried to do the chat to see if I could get some help, but it doesn’t answer me. I do pay for the app so if it no longer is gonna be able to scan pictures, I’d like to find out about canceling my subscription

Nothing works

This app came highly recommended, and I was excited to use it to help perfect my craft.

Unfortunately even after paying for the subscription nothing it working. I cannot chat with the bot, I cannot scan my bread or upload a picture.

Very disappointing and I’m not sure how to get my money back

Help

When I scan, it says that I have invalid credit. I paid the subscription amount and it says that I have access to all of the premium capabilities. I can’t find anywhere on your app. To fix this problem please help.

Chat GPT is better and free

This app requires a paid subscription, it’s cheap enough so I tried it. For a month straight it said the exact same thing every single time I scanned starter vs discard jar (they look completely different on top). Every loaf was the same score and description. I believe someone started the app as a money grab with little to no knowledge regarding sourdough. Disappointing to say the least, waste of money to say the most. Use google images for free or chat got FOR FREE

Yea but no

The app cool but if you have celiac’s, theres no gluten free settings in the scan section to give you the fully complete diagnosis of your own gf sourdough starter. The app is still helpful but I kinda feel like I wasted my money since I got the app to help me with my first starter in the first place to see if I’m doing ok with it.

Unreliable

I scanned 3 different moldy starters and it rated 2 of them pretty high and the one that it rated low was only from a lack of visible bubbles. All 3 were different starters from different people and clear pictures.

You literally only get one scan.

You get one single scan, everything else is locked behind paywalls. The feedback would be great if I could actually compare the before/after.

I hate paying for apps. I never know if they will work as advertised but this one does. I’ve been trying in vain to make sourdough. Not knowing why my bread wasn’t coming out correctly. This app helped me with my starter and with the recipes I’ve been successful everytime I’ve used this app. I’m over the moon.
