avWx

avWx (local METAR) is no longer responding. Shows a drop down alert stating it can no longer sense location and shows a GPS thumbs down, Network thumbs up. Various other GPS dependent apps are working just fine?

avWx

avWx is very handy for last minute local (within 100 miles) weather checks before I fly. The initial screen shows location and distance to selected reporting airports and includes several previous reports for each which makes it easy to catch early changing wx trends. The detailed report on the next screen is complete and written in plane (forgive the pun) English. Altogether, this unpretentious little app is welcome and a must for aviators and non-aviators alike.

Great quick source of weather. Would like to see dew point when you select a single station.
New version has dew point plus a whole lot more!
