Decent news app but ….

Decent news app but same annoying ad every couple of minutes, I don’t care about ads as long there is a little bit variety. And what is it with ads that try to scam old people out of money don’t care as long as the money is good? Also horrible picture quality

Slim international options, mute doesn’t work

Decent news app. However it’s lacking with international options and the mute button doesn’t work.

It also takes about 4 hours from the time you tell the ai Chatbot you want to speak to an agent to get a hold of anyone.

Spanish commercials

I love the news but I definitely don’t want to see Spanish commercials between. Im not in Spain or South America
I don’t want and need to hear Spanish commercials. This is very offensive to me

Worth it ? Nope

So I bought into this App after using it for Free. What A Huge Mistake! Other than no Commercials it’s the SAME DELAYED NEWS! DO NOT WASTE UOUR MONEY .. USE THE FREE APP AND WAIT THRU THE COMMERCIALS!

New bug: delayed audio and a pop/clicking sound

When playing the news from an Apple TV the news will start to play but the audio is delayed by about 3+ seconds accompanied by a click and pop noise every half second. It was working fine until a recent app update.

Great - they fixed the audio bug!

Earlier I had problems with the sound - reverb on some channels, multiple soundtracks on others - and posted in my original review. Haystack got in touch with me, acknowledged the problem and recommended that I update to v22. I did and it works like a charm!
The best thing about Haystack is that you can see news from elsewhere in the world, as well as news from your local channels.

New bug double playing the video on Apple TV

When playing the news from an Apple TV the news will start to play and then it will play the same audio again in the background causing double audio to be played at the same time

Sound issues on Apple TV

I am getting echos or multiple sound tracks. Sounds like the same track phase shifted. I use this almost every morning for headlines but now unusable for the last few days

Echo and two videos playing at once

I have the Apple TV A2169 (64MB). I play haystack on here and I get an echo for the initial video.

If I pause it, the audio keep playing. When I play the video after this pause, the video overlaps with the audio that kept playing.

When the next video plays, then I have two different audios playing, one being the audio of the screen on the TV.

Anyone getting this bug on the Apple TV?
