App Crashes
Unable to register a Lockdown Puck because app crashes after hitting next when entering the name.

Don’t think these are made anymore. Last update 3yrs ago. Needs some improvements

Many issues with this, I can open my safe and it does not notify me is biggest issue, anyone could break in and no notification. Not much use

Great product but….
Have 2 of these devices, they work great. My only gripe is that the app crashes when you try to change the notifications in settings. My device disconnects from wifi every once in a while for a short time. I no longer care to know this. Unfortunately, the app keeps letting me know because I can’t disable that notification.
Please do a stability release!!!!

Never worked
This app doesn’t work on my iPad. No response from support.
Great device, app needs some work
Got device and app set up easily. App is super quick to notify you of alerts via push notifications. Would say within 2 seconds. For some reason when trying to add a phone number and turning on the text notification the app immediately crashes. Also one out of 3 devices randomly sends me a door open notification. Please fix the text notification!!!

Great product, app needs a fix
I have been using a puck since it came out. When I moved, I had to update the firmware, but it worked great and connected to new Wi-Fi network without issue. Recently purchased a second puck and noticed I could not enable SMS or email notifications on my iPhone 12pro because the app would crash. It worked fine on the iPad, so I am good to go.

False notification
The part I have been disappointed with is the false open door. It was really bad when I first installed it. It would say door open within a few hours. Now it does it once about every 3 to 4 weeks. I am guessing that it has had some firmware updates.
I do love that I can see my temperature and humidity that’s is a big plus!

No user friendly for me
Very complicated to set up. The box had no instructions enclosed & I tried to figure it out on the app. I’m not there yet but still trying.

Even detects earthquakes here in California. Planning a second one!
Replacement
After a software upgrade made connecting to my internet router impossible, Lockdown replaced the unit. The new unit performs flawlessly. Love the temp and humidity monitoring which acts as a backup to notify me of AC problems too.
Stop creating new apps
The hardware and concept are decent but I don’t like that they create a new app instead of updating the original.
I’m sure it was probably necessary but gets confusing and then my app stopped working for a while and I didn’t even know it - because they moved to a new app.

This thing is awesome! It works perfect! Set up was easy! The humidity is spot on! Very pleased with it!

Barely better
Well the new app version is one star better than the old version because I can finally at least connect it to my WiFi but the software is soooo buggy. Crashes regularly and can’t seem to get all the settings set correctly.

Waaaay better
Forgot to add to my last review, if your having issues getting your puck to sync up to the app, try turning off your WIFI 5ghz channel, and you may have to manually enter the info, it took me several tries, like 4 or 5, i also took my puck out of my safe and got it close to the WIFI router like 3 feet and mine finally synced up, hope this helps others

Not Better?!?
I thought this was to fix bugs? It won’t even let me add my devices. Fails every time.

Update 8/18/21 -Version 1.7 was released and addresses issues with setup, mainly if your Wi-Fi name or Wi-Fi password contained special characters such as: @ % : $ ' = " ; the device could fail to add. After updating your app it should now add without problem. Let us know if that helps! Sorry to hear you’re having issues. Please reach out to our customer support so we can resolve the issue at support@lockdownsecured.com . Also please confirm that you are using a 2.4GHz network to connect your puck too, the puck does not support a 5GHz network like most smart products. You also may want to check that you have enabled Local Network access in your settings.
